The select-grade (lowest grade of meat) prime rib was served only lukewarm, the same with the au jus. The creamy horseradish was the the WORST I’d every had with almost no horseradish flavor, and less than zero “kick” that real horseradish should have.
The broccoli served next to my poor-grade prime rib was very dried out. It actually looked wilted and brown in some places. Clearly it was very old and wasn’t blanched or steamed right before being served to me.
There was particles of someone else’s food on my steak knife that crumbled off the knife and onto the table when I unwrapped my silverware from the accompanying black napkin. Gross. This tells me that this restaurant is doing a very poo job of actually cleaning the cutlery being used by their customers. I can tell that this restaurant doesn’t use any amount of rinse aid in their dishwashers and that’s a fact. Now I question if they’re using any soap too.
The wait staff took far too long to get us anything, was clearly overtasked and was not capable of handling about 30 people per server.
I will not be back to this business, and I give it an F- grade of total failure.
Always recommending the Tri tip and pizookies. But now we got a new fave, the Dubai chocolate pizookie!
Ambience is perfect for date night or family sharing, we got a booth and shared wings, buttery shrimp and Parmesan toast.
Appetizer(avocado eggrolls) comes out, not hot and flavorless and missing a lot of ingredients. We love this dish and had it many times so we know it pretty well so we were kind of surprised but once again server was no where. Whatever…that’s a minor issue that salt and pepper fixed.
Grand finale: entrees delivered and I have a fingernail mixed in my food. A large acrylic nail. Pretty sure that’s a health code violation. GROSS! Again no server to be found so we get the hostess that is walking by but purposely avoids looking at us as we say ma’am 3 times so loud other guests turned to look. She finally turns around and we ask for the manager. He comes out, says omg and offers to get new dishes. Nope…we will pass. We were pretty upset with the situation of a rude hostess, dirty glassware and now this so a bit of a scene in the front of the hostess stand started. Pretty much instead of taking care of the issue he just wanted us gone so he said have a good night and we left. He refused to give us his bosses info, names of the hostess that was rude, servers name…just wanted us gone and acted like we were the problem and were overreacting! Guess I should be glad it was just a nail and. Or a finger???
If you choose to spend your money here, make sure you check everything. Clearly there’s no management going on so you’ll need to be extra diligent when eating here. If a glass passes through 2 sets of eyes (bartender and server) and no one sees how dirty it was there’s a problem. If Food passes the kitchen with fingernails after at least another 2 sets of eyes (server and expo) see it…there’s a major problem happening. Not sure what’s up but we used to frequent this place but the last couple times we went it was just ok. We hadn’t been in a few months and decided to try it again but wow…it’s really gone downhill! We all work hard for our money especially these days…do not waste it here.
