Frankford Hall embodies the spirit of an open-air German biergarten presented with a modern twist. Set in an industrial structure, the space creates a unique urban experience for those looking to enjoy a cold brew and brats of all kinds. With 9 beers on tap, 10 more in bottles and giant, warm pretzels the true essence of Bavaria is represented at its best in this Fishtown fun spot.
Big German-style beer garden with communal seating & food options to soak up the brews.

Frankford Hall is an awesome spot to grab a beer and hang out. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, a fun ping-pong setup, and overall a great vibe.
They also offer food, which is a nice bonus. My only downsides are that the beers are a bit pricey and I wish there were TVs outdoors so you could hang out longer during games.
Still, I’d definitely recommend it and would happily come back.

Love it here! Such a good place to hang out with friends, grab a drink, and sit outside while doing so! The outdoor space is really nice with heat lamps in the winter, and there’s also a ping pong table inside which is fun. Great place to spend a few hours with friends and a wide variety of drink options!

Tons of space, very friendly, and most importantly: delicious!
Came here for a date night and had never been before. The hall itself is a spacious and open, with a wide variety of games to play and seating options.
You order your food from the window in the back right, and the staff that welcomed us were really friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit elevated, but it’s Fishtown in Philly.
You also get what you pay for! Our food was delicious—I got the burger and my partner got the schnitzel. Both were served hot and very quickly, and tasted extremely fresh. The fries were very good as well, and the Bavarian pretzel we shared was so tasty with a nice cheese sauce on the side.
Overall, I had a wonderful time here! Will definitely be visiting again!

Highly recommended for groups and during the week for a low key night. Happy hour food and drink specials, along with a full drink and food menu. The wurst platter was great, the large pretzel was soft and very hot, though we didn’t care for the cheese sauce. We enjoyed our time there, would imagine it gets packed on the weekend!!

Great spot to gather with friends, have great food, and drinks. They have spacious indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating was packed. The outdoor seating has plenty of heaters with 3 large fire pits keeping the square warm. The staff were incredible going around adding fire logs and changing the propane tanks to keep us warm. The food is great to share and very filling. I was very pleased with the drink options. They have beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic options. There are wheelchair accessible stalls with vertical and horizontal grab bars. The sink is a trough still so not ideal. They do not have paper towels but rather opt for high pressure hand dryers right by the door. There was music playing over speakers that was hard to talk over. Definitely hard for those with sensitive hearing or who get over stimulated. I recommend bringing ear plugs if that is you.

This place is a whole vibe! Great energy, chill crowd, and an awesome selection of beers. I tried Spaten for the first time, and I’m officially a fan.The giant pretzel was soft, warm, and perfect with the dip. Plus, the open bar setup and the ping pong table make it such a fun spot to hang out. Whether you’re here for the drinks, the food, or just the atmosphere, this place delivers.

Frankford Hall, located in the heart of Fishtown, Philadelphia, is a modern take on a German beer garden with a hip, industrial feel. It seems to be a popular spot for both locals and visitors thanks to its open-air layout, communal seating, and casual vibe. With ping-pong tables, fire pits, and long wooden tables, it has a lively but relaxed energy — especially in spring and summer when the outdoor area is fully in use. Frankford Hall is surprisingly kid-friendly during the day and makes a good casual outing for families, especially if you’re looking to introduce kids to a lively, cultural setting without it feeling too formal. Just avoid late-night hours and keep expectations flexible. This place is more “family-welcoming” than “family-focused.”

Really nice liters and half liters of beer options, really spacious for large groups, outdoor courtyard food hall style benches with heating lamps and a few fire pits. Inside there was a ping pong table. Didn’t try the food. This was me and my friend group of 7’s last bar in our bar hopping on a Friday and it was a nice nightcap!

Excellent space! I had a hot apple cider with bourbon and it was quite tasty. The heat lamps added a nice touch to the courtyard area, and made the event I attended more welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommend this space!
