Friend wanted to come here for his birthday breakfast. As always the service was incredible.
This is truly a Texas breakfast place, but you may order egg whites, vegggies, and healthy options. Let’s be honest though. The apple pancakes with whipped cream and way too much butter are awesome.
The salsa and pico are good. Crispy bacon is perfectly crispy. Take home a pie.

There aren’t many real diners left — the kind that feel like childhood, where breakfast tastes like home, and the coffee hits just right. But this place has held onto something special.

Opened in 1985 by Ginger when she was only 19, it’s been serving true Southern hospitality for nearly 40 years. Ginger has since retired, but you wouldn’t know it — nothing has changed, and that’s what makes it incredible. Most of the original staff is still here, and they speak about this place with pure joy on their faces — something you just don’t see anymore.

The atmosphere carries that nostalgic diner vibe that’s almost impossible to find today. Patrick, our waiter, was friendly, attentive, and genuinely informative — the kind of service that makes you feel like family. And the coffee is the real deal — simple, honest, and perfect.

If you’re looking for a place that feels like stepping back into what community used to be…
this is it.
A treasure.

Ok folks, In all my years of leaving reviews THIS PLACE is a rare 5 star from this Platnium reviewer. This place has been here since 1985 per the waitress and Im legit mad I never knew about this spot until today!! Nestled into a busy little strip center next to Albertsons, its easy to overlook.

Super friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Hot yeast rolls with cinnamon butter brought to the table when you’re seated. The menu is adorable and fun, see pics! Lots of seating inside. Cute little jukebox on the tables. Generous portions. The food is so good! Prices that beat most places like this. This is now our family’s new favorite spot.

Since they have multiple signs proudly boasting they have the best banana pudding ever, we had to try it. Its a fact jack. It was so good. We also got a hot cinnamon roll to go. So yummy! This place is dangerous if you’re on a diet, definately cheat day worthy though!!

Adorable 50s decor of Elvis, John Wayne, and Gran’s country kitchen! We loved this place. Great family spot!

Again, been a very long time since a spot has earned a full 5 from me. Not sure if that matters to anyone ,but if you look at my reviews you will see, I’m pretty tough on places that fall short.

I am in no way associated with this establishment or compensated for this review. This is an honest review by a first time customer.

We were passing through town and stopped on a whim at Ginger Browns for the first time, and had such a great experience, we can’t wait to go back! The ambiance was super cute and comfortable, like an old time diner, and the service was incredible. We had the Texas Scramble with chicken fried steak, and the Effe Mae’s Griddle special, with blueberry pancakes, with coffee. Everything was so delicious, fresh and homemade tasting, with big portions. While we waited for our order they also served us complimentary breads with flavored butter, and the server made sure our coffee cups were always full. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an old time, affordable, homemade delicious meal with great service.

Those biscuits are very delicious! I’m a biscuit lover and the biscuits here left a lasting impression on me. Whenever I’m in that area I’m most definitely stopping by. As you can see I cleaned my plate. And that plate was stuffed at a reasonable price.

Had brunch. Cozy place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Food had ample portions and very tasty. Their take on onion rings is unique. The dipping sauce is spicy.

Phenomal diner spot that reminds me of when I was a kid. Service was great and the prices / portion sizes make it great for cost. Their food was so fresh and all is made in house. I want to shout out their Cinnamon Rolls and rolls, easily the best I’ve ever had with their strawberry butter that’s so good. The overall atmosphere is a classic diner we all remember. I don’t review a ton of good spots but this place is an absolute must to visit.
