Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This was my first time eating at this location. The food, and service was great. The food was nice and hot when we received it. The customer service was great as well. I am normally not a whataburger fan. But I would most definitely eat at this location again if I’m in the area.

I visited this location on Thurs Jan 1 & Friday Jan 2 both times around 4am and the young lady in the drive thru window was Amazing!!! She was super sweet, attentive and had the most inviting smile. Her Name tag said Johnson, I’m not sure if that’s her name but That girl ROCKS!! 10 OUT OF 10 EXPERIENCE! She always ends the conversation with “come back and see us” and I cannot wait to see her again.

Wonderful, Wonderful experience today at your store. I must agree with one of your other customers, Laura Landers made the visit so enjoyable. From the moment we entered the location we were greeted with a smile and a warm “welcome in”. She up-sold the visit and sold us several of the promotional cups. Also offering the crafted lemonade The store was clean, service was quick and the food was hot. Look forward to the next visit.

I can only eat certain things now with my current medical conditions so I asked for a grilled chicken wrap. Menu said $3- when I went to pay it was $7. They told me it was loaded with veggies so I agreed. After they charged me said it would take 10 minutes to make. I am on a very short lunch but just agreed again because I’m so hungry. Finally get it, get to work, open the wrap and it is just one small piece of chicken, two tomatoes, a pinch of wilted lettuce and more ranch sauce than anyone would ever need. It was sloppier than the town drunk three hours into an open bar. I’m sick, hungry and no more time for lunch. Flat out depressing. I picked out my $7 chicken. I’m still hungry.

I don’t understand how most of the parking spots close to the door are taken up mostly by employees that work here, there was 1 customer inside that left when I did and she was parked in the handicap parking. The rest are employees 1 was still sitting on the vehicle and the manager came out and got in hers when I was leaving. They could be parking in towards the back side to save room for customers.

I go in the mornings and the young lady that’s always taking the orders Kayla is very nice people friendly. When I come in and she is there she knows I either wonts the #1 burger meal or sausage on a bun . The manager’s and the staff are all team players .

Clean restaurant, friendly service, food came out fairly quick. The drinks tasted awful. They all had some sort of chemical aftertaste and smelled like acetone. Hopefully Whataburger didnt just poison my family.

First off I do not leave reviews!!!!

I was in line today and the lady taking orders name was Laura landers amazing person!!!! I am 46 years old and i have never see someone so GREAT at what they do she was very friendly, fast and efficient. It was enough for me to take time out of my day to leave this review!!!! 10 Stars for sure!!!!! say hi to her for me if you go.

Ordered online and was accidentally handed the wrong order at the drive through, came inside to return it because they were super busy (it was around 11PM on a Sunday) and it was more food than what we ordered – not a big deal at all, was clearly an honest mistake. Manager on duty was so sweet and apologetic and she was on her game. She had new employees trying to get their schedules, people trying to get their drawers counted so they could leave, people coming in for their shift, a full drive through, people in the lobby ordering and she was on top of everything. The girl running the drive through came and apologized also, which was sweet. Our order was fresh and perfect when we got it. That manager deserves a raise!
