I live in Fernandina Beach and really enjoy the location there, but I also stop by this one when I come to Douglas to visit my grandchildren. I usually come in the afternoons and the workers have always been very kind. I don’t normally come in the mornings, but my granddaughter was out of school that day so I brought her in for a little treat.
While we were waiting in the lobby for our drinks, I could clearly hear some of the girls working there talking about a lady who had been in earlier. They were discussing things about her personal life that were none of their business. I found this very unprofessional and disappointing. I understand you may not like every customer that walks in, but that is no reason to talk about them inside the store where other customers can hear you.
It really makes a person wonder what might be said about them after they leave. I believe if employees want to have those kinds of conversations, they should wait until they are off work and not do it in front of customers.
I will not dare to be coming in during the mornings anymore. I do hope the person who has ownership will address this, because customers should feel welcome and respected when they come in, not wondering if they will be talked about next. I don’t ever write reviews about places, but I do believe that this should be put out there.

What a lovely place! Super clean and welcoming. The barristas helped me figure out what to order and made sure I was happy with everything. Diana was so sweet! The cinnamon bagel and cream cheese was super fresh, honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. I was on my way home from Jacksonville and this place was a perfect place to take a break. I wish there was an Ellianos here in Macon.

So we usually go here 2 to 3 times a week but I think i might change up the one in mid town is always consistent the last 2 times I ordered from this one the first time they made it way ahead of time.. I had a set time .. for a turtle freezer .. when we got there the ice was completely melted making it go over the rim the lid came off and it went all over me like I would ask why if you see a time why make it early and let it melt and think its ok .. but this time we ordered the same thing at 9 am im writing this review at 11 : 18 and there was so much ice that my husband and i are still sipping ( waiting for it to thaw ) i can turn the cup just about upside down and it wont come out ..thats all you tasted coffee flavor ice ill just order from the one in mid town

Highly recommend this place. Been an Ellianos fan for over 5 years and this place is as incredible as the other site. Staff is very friendly and professional! Food is always delicious. Whether you are stopping by through town or a resident, I highly recommend this place!

The caramel freezer is so good and the whipped cream is delicious. I like the ellianos more in douglas than waycross because in douglas they dont overload the drink with syrup its just right.

I absolutely love their coffee and other assortment of beverages. I normally only get the breakfast sandwiches, which are tasty, but a bit costly. I choose this coffee shop over Starbucks everytime! Starbucks doesnt use a dark enough roast for me.
