This place is a hidden gem, very good sushi and wonderful Miso. The girl at the counter was very attentive, super helpful outgoing. Great experience.

Convenient location. Nice inside and out with plenty of parking. The staff is very nice! The food is great! I like the Coke products. I have eaten there many times this year and will be back soon. It can get busy but that is good and they handle that well. My only suggestions would be for the salad add tomato and maybe cucumber to it I like the “ginger dressing” offered but it is not as good as the ginger dressing that most Japanese places have and seems more like a sauce than a salad dressing. I like your white sauce but wish you offered the reddish ginger sauce that most Japanese places have. Adding the traditional ginger dressing and sauce and salad tomato and cucumber would make everything perfect for me. Keep the great work and yummy food and friendly service going!

I stopped in on a whim….I am SO HAPPY I did. The Crab Rangoon, pan fried dumpling and white tuna sushi were great- being from New England, being in NC has not come close to the Japanese/Asian food I have been accustomed to. Lookong forward to hibachi on my next visit.
The young girl at the counter was very sweet and actually asked sincerely if I was having a good day . Love that.

*Update* – I am writing this update in response to the owner’s comment. First, learn rudimentary manners and courtesy. You have received numerous complaints regarding your lack of common courtesy to your customers, yet continue to address them in an abrasive manner. Unsure if this is your first business, but you should understand customer service is a big part of it. Second, you don’t decide my portion (not to mention thinking 6 additional shrimp somehow makes a meal large is nonsense). You did not charge me the lunch price. You also should not have the item listed as including 12 shrimp when it does not (or stipulate only 6 shrimp are included when item is ordered for lunch instead of dinner). Perhaps you should take some time away from the business to go back and get the basics down, then try again. Your business will close if the food options here expand. I guarantee it.
The food here is decent (compared to the limited options in Clayton). My dish of choice is the Hibachi jumbo shrimp. As the menu clearly states, 12 shrimp are to be included. More often than not, they only include 6. When I do delivery, the apps will refund for this; however, there is no refund when I pick it up (and as I tend to pick up on my lunch break, I simply don’t have the time to check behind them). Going forward, I will open the plate before leaving to verify. They are likely taking advantage because they appear to be one of the more popular restaurants in the area (again, only due to the limited options…….they wouldn’t rate in my former city of Raleigh).

Told cashier to substitute noodles for the rice my plate come to the table with rice on it and they wanted me to pay extra for my noodles. Very snappy. and now the owner wants to get up here and say I didn’t ask for the noodles which I did. She was not standing there when I asked for him so she don’t know. The young lady upfront was new and she don’t listen and I should’ve known better what the health department score like that

Very small portions, considering the amount that was paid. $12.
More rice than anything
No ginger sauce
No fork provided
Took longer than usual to receive the food
Not on my top 10 Hibachi chicken locations

The food was excellent. Service was slow. They seemed to give priority to phone orders over dine in customers. I had a nice table next to where they store the soft drinks. Recommend getting your food to go

I ordered in from here for the first time. I ordered the Pick 2 rolls, spicy tuna and the salmon, pan seared gyoza and the likii soup. The rolls were mini sized and tasted mid at best. The soup had a good flavor and the pan seared gyoza was just okay. I wouldn’t write home over this sushi as I have definitely had better. I may try their other selections in the future but it probably won’t be the first choice.

After living in this area for some time, we finally decided to give this place a try, despite the mixed reviews. We’ve now visited several times, and while the food is generally good, there always seems to be something missing.
One of the biggest issues has been inconsistency with portion sizes. Every time we’ve ordered shrimp, we’ve received fewer pieces than what is listed on the menu. After noticing this pattern, I decided to check my order before leaving on my last visit—only to find, once again, that I was shorted. When I brought this up to the female manager/owner, she insisted that they “always give that amount.” I even showed her the menu, which clearly stated a different quantity, but she dismissed it and offered no acknowledgment or resolution.
Additionally, I have ordered the noodles multiple times and specifically requested all vegetables, including zucchini. Yet, they have gotten it wrong every single time. Frustrated with the repeated mistakes, I called today to address these ongoing issues, hoping for some accountability, but instead, I was met with complete indifference.
With rising prices, businesses should be honest and transparent rather than cutting corners at the expense of customers. Unfortunately, this location seems unwilling to address concerns or take responsibility for its shortcomings.

The rice was undercooked and weirdly cold possibly even the incorrect rice. The quality of the sushi was lacking all around. Everything was served on paper plates which was a choice I suppose. We had tried here when they first opened a while back and we were disappointed then and finally decided to give it another go but are still not happy. The Miso was good though. Recommend just getting sushi at Harris teeter or Publix if you’re craving and can’t go anywhere else.
