I had dinner with my wife and granddaughter, and we ordered three meals: carne asada, bean burritos with cheese sauce, and a special dish that included grilled chicken and vegetables. All the food was very good. They made a mistake with the burritos and served us beef instead, but once we brought this to their attention, they promptly corrected it, which we appreciated.
The margarita was served in a frosted goblet and was very refreshing. The chips and salsa were plentiful; the chips were thin and very fresh. The salsa was tasty, but it lacked spiciness and could have used more cilantro and onions to suit my taste.
The carne asada was cooked well and very tender but didn’t seem to be seasoned or marinated, offering just a good beefy flavor. I personally prefer dishes with some seasoning or a flavorful marinade. Overall, I would recommend this place and would return if I’m in the area again.

Spike Speedwell
Typical Mexican Menu, Good and Fast service.
We had a Taco Salad with ground beef and the Jack Special Burrito with a side of beans. The taco salad was delicious! The fresh crisp fried flour tortilla shell and the fresh guacamole really stood out. The Jack Special was very simple. A flour tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken breast (chopped) covered with queso, a little ground beef on the outside then a little red sauce over the beef. The menu described the burrito as “topped with chili cheese sauce.” That’s why I tried it. It too was great. Simple but great.
The service is fast. The guys working the floor were efficient. The was a party of 15 at one end of the restaurant and about ten other patrons scattered throughout the restaurant. The big party was already seated when we walked in. The waiter got our order quickly ahead of the big group and we had our food in minutes. The big group had their food within 15 minutes of ordering. The waiter delivered the plates lined up and balanced on his arm seven at a time! No tray.
So, the food is fresh, hot, and the kitchen and wait staff hustles.

Friendly staff! Great food! Quick service. My favorite go-to in Ft. Gibson. The food is fresh and hot. The staff are very intuitive. It’s hard to get really good service anywhere. I have never had a bad experience here. Service seems to be a lost art in most places. Not here! I can’t reiterate enough to plug them for excellent service. All around great experiences.

First time we ate here. Wow very good. We will certainly be back. I think we have found our new favorite. The only drawback and this is really just my preference. I like water with my meal. I asked if the water was filtered and they said yes but I thought the water still was not very good. I guess when we eat there I will drink something else.

I just had the El Gringo I think it’s called…hard tacos with steak. The steak is like rubber , cold and the shells were stale. The chips were also stale and it was over $15

The worst mexican food I have eaten. They should be ashamed to serve what was served to me. I never complain about food, this was uneatable! DO NOT EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

The food always pretty good. The service was decent. The major complaint for me was the workers sitting at the back table was on speaker phone carrying on a very loud conversation and we were sat at the table next to them so we couldn’t have a conversation at all while they were on the speaker phone for 20 minutes.
