I used to go to Hokkaido eventfully when i was a kid. However, I live in south county now, so I go here rather often when I wanna eat a great Japanese meal on my own time. It’s delicious food, and affordable too. Sometimes, I wish they would decrease the temperature in which they keep some food warm, though, because some can end up overcooked. Yeah, though, excellent place.

Came here right around dinner time closer to 5 pm on a Thursday, I drove about 40 minutes from illinois since I saw it was a seafood buffet with good reviews, I wonder how much of these reveiws are legit now. My partner went to get her food , then returned 5 minutes later, I went to get some food also, I took less than 5 minutes myself, sat down to eat, everything was cold, and the only thing that was slightly hot was the shrimp I had, I would avoid this place.
They didnt end up charging us since we told them everything was cold, but they charged me for a sprite cup I barely drank, they got 3$.
Very VERY dissatisfied.
Its a shame its a nice looking place but they’re food quality control is horrible.

I usually avoid buffets. They are just not my thing and I tend to eat so much I feel miserable.

But, a friend said it was pretty good.
I am pretty sure I tried almost everything they have except rice and noodles.

It is a huge buffet and it has a Mongolian style BBQ at the end.

The food is good for the most part and the price is very reasonable. For the drinks and dinner buffet for two, we paid 39$.

It is worth coming to if you enjoy buffets.

I know 5 stars across the board is hard to find but this place earns all of them. Highly recommend! The most extensive buffet I have ever enjoyed. All the hot food is actually hot. Such a great variety, come hungry. I tried a little of almost half of what they offer, no way I could sample everything there.

Great selection of sushi too! One of my all time favorites at an Oriental buffet is the “crab bake”. Theirs is OUTSTANDING!!!! So creamy and delicious.

The restaurant is very clean and we were there during the lunch rush. Restroom was also clean.

Service was outstanding. I honestly will drive out of my way to go back.

It was 11:30, why was the food cold, dry, and trays that where mismatched with crispy and soft stuff? It was lunch, so it should have been hot and fresh.
It looks like they are serving yesterday’s leftovers for lunch. Safety concern for old seafood.
Will not be coming back.

The food was awful. It was room temp at best. Poor quality. Walked past the seafood section and the smell was that of washed up carp carcasses baking in the sun. I feel genuine pity and concern for anyone that ate an oyster. The sesame chicken tasted like bratwurst? The egg roll had a few scraps of cabbage. Our server was attentive and kept the iced tea full. Waste of time and money. Make sure you have alka seltzer on hand.

The restaurant itself was good but this person working the Hibachi was extremely rude! If you don’t want to make the food QUIT!

Very tasty $12 buffet in a gorgeous building with fantastic service! I’m sold.

Really enjoyed the variety of dishes–Mongolian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese. They have sushi, a Mongolian grill, a salad bar, delicious fresh fruit, desserts, and then a TON of main dishes. I think vegetarians could find plenty here to suit their needs. Gluten avoiders might have trouble due to soy sauce and breading. Omnivores will be in heaven.

They have this unexpectedly beautiful lobby area with antique furniture. Small but ornate fancy light fixtures throughout. Stainless steel buffet area that is clearly cleaned well and often.

The servers were friendly. The check came right at the end of my meal and was dealt with promptly. They didn’t seem in a hurry to rush me out, which I appreciated when I’m waiting for a Lyft. Glad I chose to stop by. There’s still a lot I didn’t get to try, so I hope to return.
