Ok yum!!! We started with the escarole salad (boring) and broccoli rabbi which was delicious! Rigatoni was a large portion. Pizzas are 12 inches and the diavolo is so good. We asked for the spice on the side. We had three and one did not come with the spicy oil and pepper flakes but our waiter quickly fixed. We had a great waiter. Joey , I think. However one person ordered the sweet potato ravioli and it came after everyone else was 1/2 done. They comped the dish which was the right thing to do.
I would come back. For the quality prices were reasonable

We visited Prato to celebrate my son’s 20th birthday and had a wonderful experience. Our server, Sabrina, was amazing and made sure our party of nine was well taken care of. She was attentive throughout the entire meal and checked on us often. I brought a cake for the occasion, and without me even asking, she kindly offered to store it in the refrigerator for us. She answered all of our questions about the menu and truly went above and beyond.
The music playing in the background was perfect not too loud, so we were able to hold conversations comfortably. The ambiance was dim and cozy, but not too dark. Excellent service and a great place to celebrate a special occasion!

We came to try the updated menu, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! I was happy to see the meatball appetizer was still on the menu — always a crowd-pleaser. I was especially surprised by the salad — the cheese in the middle was amazing. If you love butternut squash, you’ll definitely enjoy the soup — it’s rich, thick, and full of flavor.
For entrées, we tried the duck, braised beef, and branzino fish — all three were cooked to perfection. And don’t skip dessert! We had the vanilla ice cream, raspberry sorbet, and tiramisu — each one was delightful.
Our overall dining experience was excellent. The atmosphere was warm, and our server was both attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Lunch at Prato was an experience in itself. Delicious food with smaller plates, but perfectly satisfying portions. I tasted several dishes, and the standout was the Tortellini with Short Rib–Mushroom Ragù, Pear, Gorgonzola, and Crema al Marsala.. absolutely outstanding.
The staff was friendly and professional, and we were seated in a very comfortable booth. Highly recommend!

The food was honestly delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and you can tell they care about quality. The flavors were well balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. Every dish we tried was full of taste, and the portions were just right. It’s the kind of place where you enjoy every bite and already want to come back to try more from the menu.

We had an absolutely fantastic evening at Prato, and it’s easily one of the best meals we’ve had in long time. The atmosphere is perfect—rustic yet upscale, with that charming Park Avenue vibe, exposed brick, and warm lighting that makes everything feel special.
The food was outstanding from start to finish. We started with the Pretzel-Crusted Calamari Salsa Rossa, Grain Mustard Aioli. My pasta dish the “Cacio e Pepe” Mustard Spaghettini, Radicchio, Speck Ham, Balsamico. My husband had the Salmon Porri al Limone Melted Leeks, Meyer Lemon Hollandaise, Arugula Herb which he said was amazing and cooked to perfection! Everything felt thoughtful, seasonal, and executed with real skill—no shortcuts.
But what really elevated the whole experience was our server, Cole. He was incredible! Attentive without being overbearing, super knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about the food and wine. He gave spot-on recommendations (including a great mixed drink pairing that complemented everything beautifully), checked in at just the right moments, and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. His energy and professionalism turned a great meal into a memorable one.
If you’re anywhere near Orlando/Winter Park, do yourself a favor and book Prato. And if you get Cole as your server, you’re in for amazing service on top of the delicious food. Highly recommend— we’ll be back soon!

my boyfriend and I wanted to try a new place that we haven’t been to for our anniversary. Prato did not disappoint! We made our reservation a few weeks in advance to ensure we got optimal timing for our plans and when we arrived 15 minutes early, we were seated promptly. The service we experienced all evening was above and beyond what we expected. Prato customer service definitely stands apart from the rest of the restaurants in the greater Orlando area let alone winter park. We felt taken of in every way. We ordered the famous meatballs to start our meal. When they arrived at the table apprx 15 after our order, they were fresh, juicy, and delicious. Our server, Drew, was aware of our wait times for each dish we ordered and made sure we had everything we needed while we waited. Next we decided to share the fungi pizza (not pictured unfortunately). It was cheesy, hot & the crust had the perfect amount of crisp. Drew came back to offer a wine selection to go with the pasta we ordered which was their signature mustard spaghetti entree Cacio e Pepe. Personally, I am not a pasta girl. But I would have this pasta everyday of the week if I could. It was soft and perfectly cooked, smothered in the most delicious sauce and mixed perfectly with the additional ingredients. It took a while for this entree to come out but the manager came to us and offered the meal on the house to make up for the business of the restaurant. It’s New Year’s Day so we didn’t make a fuss and felt so taken care of already that we would have waited all night. Lastly our server surprised us with a scoop of salted vanilla ice cream with honey and fennel as an anniversary gift. Our whole experience was amazing and we can’t wait to come back with friends and family(: Thanks Prato for making our anniversary dinner amazing and going above and beyond for us!

I went to Prato with very high expectations, but unfortunately my family and I did not enjoy the experience.
We ordered the Tortellini and the Rigatoni Bolognese. Both dishes were extremely spicy and had very strong, overpowering flavors. The seasoning was too intense, and the taste did not appeal to anyone at our table. We were hoping for something more balanced and enjoyable.
For dessert, I ordered both the tiramisu and the cheesecake, but sadly neither of them stood out or helped improve the overall experience.
Overall, we were quite disappointed, especially given the restaurant’s reputation. I truly expected much more.
