We went for the first time last night. The bread is very good. Salad with house dressing was nice as well. I enjoyed my chicken parm. I’ll come back to try tiramisu and stuffed mushrooms.

My partner and I love it here, it’s our go to date spot. We visited last night for our anniversary and the staff were absolutely lovely, very kind and complimentary. We arrived relatively late and they assured us that we could take all the time we needed. Our waiter remembered us from our previous visits and was extremely nice as always. At this point, we visit mostly for him! The food was delicious, the alfredo is a must have. At the end of the night we ordered a slice of cake, and our waiter put two candles on it in colors that matched our dresses Delicious, affordable, and such a wonderful environment. Always a wonderful experience here and we can’t wait for our next visit!

Carmello’s is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles from the staff, who went out of their way to make our family feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it perfect for both families and special occasions. Our kids loved their meals, and it’s such a relief to find a this restaurant.
Speaking of the food—it’s outstanding! Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the sauces were rich and well-balanced, and the desserts were the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
But what truly sets Carmello’s apart is the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and great with the kids, making sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find a place that combines a kid-friendly environment with top-notch dining, but Carmello’s nails it. Highly recommend for families and food lovers alike!

Dinner started with fresh baked bread and butter and a simple salad. I chose the Eggplant parmigiana. The sauce was tasty, eggplant and spaghetti well cooked, presented nicely and went together well. Waiter service is pleasant and attentive with a white tablecloth table setting – which is increasingly rare these days. A good old-fashioned Italian restaurant deserving of your custom

A nondescript restaurant front in a shopping center revealed a gem. Good traditional Italian dishes. Our waiter was a real character, provided excellent service, and made excellent recommendations for wine. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Food was delicious and service was excellent! See below.
The name and location are the reasons why we called this restaurant! We wanted Italian! We called, asked how busy they were and were they able to setup a table now for our group of 12 people? They said, yes, it will be ready 15 to 20 minutes.
We arrived, they were almost finished setting up our table and we were seated in about 10 minutes. The lady (owner?!?) greeted us and was very nice and friendly.
Mike, our server, was truly the best! Very down to earth, funny, a lot of fun, great sense of humor, and provided excellent service.
My 2 sisters in law enjoyed their meals and one received special treatment. She was waiting patiently and she got her entree first and then when Mike asked if anyone wanted anything for dessert, my sister in law said, my eyes are bigger than my stomach. To our surprise, Mike brought a strawberry cake (free of charge) to my sister in law and everyone enjoyed tasting the strawberry cake.
Thanks Mike! We highly recommend Mike and this restaurant!
FYI, there were issues swiping our credit cards. 2 of our families had to go somewhere nearby to get cash.

We went on February 15th so they had the special Valentine’s Day menu. The meal was very good but the service was slow and they were packed. We got bread and butter upon sitting down. We each ordered a drink: lemon drop and Italian surfer (had them make it with just cranberry no pineapple juice). Then had our house salads. The dressing was amazing. For the entrees we had the chicken carmello and the chicken parm. The carmello sauce was amazing. They also gave us a portion of pasta with red sauce which we shared. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse cake and the limoncello cake. Both were very good, light, not too dense. We had a reservation but still waited a little to be seated and had to wait to order and get our food. The meal definitely took a while and we even got more bread so if you want to spend time eating a nice dinner it’s great but it is not the place for a quick dinner. We will be back!

Great takeout experience. The salad dressings and pasta sauces are very clearly freshly made in house and are wonderful. The chicken parm was a generous portion and excellent all around.
The black forest cake is also fantastic! Mama Stella knows her craft!

We absolutely love it here. After our first visit valentines we knew this was be the spot for us, the first time visiting the chicken parm was unmatched, then we decided to go back for a special treat (we don’t live close) for my birthday and I got the lamb….i will be telling my grandchildren tales of that lamb if we ever have children! And Mike is the icing on the cake, if we thought his personality was a fluke the first time nope his charisma only adds to the experience. Would give more stars if we could, everyone around us seemed to be celebrating something and we still felt so special. We can’t wait to be lifelong customers!

Poor experience, I regret to say. I came in early one evening heading back into town on 29 and thought I’d finally give this place a try. Service was shockingly slow, and it really wasn’t busy at all. Took several minutes to be seated. Two servers for the entire restaurant, one of whom was doubling as bartender, clearly overextended. My martini was warm and my food was cold. Should tell you all you need to know. The lobster ravioli, had it not been cold, probably would have been adequate.
Lots of yelling across the restaurant between the two overworked waiters and the woman in the back who (I assume) is the manager/owner. DoorDash drivers were in and out of the place the entire time, which was also a distraction. Just nothing about my dinner here was pleasant.
With a few changes, I think Carmello’s could be a lovely place to dine. I’ve heard things were much better at their old location in town. Perhaps I’ll give them another try one day, but certainly not in a rush to do so.
