Prices: Extremely Reasonable
You truly get a lot of value for your money here. The portion sizes on the Barbarian platter are generous, making it easy to enjoy a full feast without a massive bill.
Quality: Superior and Hearty
The ingredients feel fresh and the preparation is clearly handled with care. There is a consistent standard of excellence in every dish served.
Responsiveness: Prompt, Friendly, Attentive
The staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Despite how busy it can get, the service remains efficient without feeling rushed. Our servers were knowledgeable about the menu and kept our drinks filled throughout the meal.
Selection:
While German cuisine can often be heavy on gluten and meat, they go out of their way to provide thoughtful alternatives.
I appreciated the vegan options.
The only improvement I could suggest would be to put a symbol or tag for items which can be made Gluten-free.
Taste: Authentically German
This is the real deal. The flavors are deep and traditional, transporting you straight to a Bavarian beer hall. Whether it’s the tangy sauerkraut or the perfectly seasoned bratwurst, the seasoning profiles are spot-on for anyone seeking a genuine German culinary experience.
The beer selection wasn’t a very long list of beers, but the German beers that we tried were great.
The chicken schnitzel was very good, as was the giant pretzel, potato, pancakes, red, cabbage, etc.
Very helpful staff with welcoming environments. Highly recommended!
Awesome 1st Birthday party for my Granddaughter here today. Staff, management, food, bevs-top notch for sure. Great room-guests raving. 5 Stars ALL DAY!
Our other 3 friends were also raving about their dishes. We were in the catering hall and the service was great, the food plentiful and well organized. We never go out to eat on thanksgiving but this year turned out to be a good choice.
Huge restaurant with beer hall style seating and some regular seats as well.
The German beer is great and the food is as authentic as you can get.
The staff is friendly and the place is comfortable.
We have eaten here before going to UBS for the Islanders games.
This is highly recommended.
This place used to be the place for a great German meal, but it is no longer.
Maybe it’s still good as a Biergarten with live bands, but even the beer selection is limited, so I’m not too sure if one can say it’s a great Biergarten.
The food and the service of the past is no longer what is here.
