We stopped in off of a fluke, on a Sunday evening, for dinner. Our bartender Chris was nothing short of phenomenal. We had never stepped foot into this establishment and she made us feel right at home. I had the breaded tenderloin….and my partner had the smashburger. Both were cooked to perfection! Me being a self-proclaimed ‘tenderloin snob’ I have to say this one hit all the high points! Definitely recommend. After a bit of time with Chris, the owner came in. We discovered some things, people and places we had in common. Truly may become my new Galesburg ‘favorite’…as I live 3.5 hours away but have a second home pretty close. Heres to FINALLY finding that place that I can be the ‘regular from another state’….100% recommend Motzees!

Gotta have the Smashburger, but it’s all good! Delicious food and a comfortable relaxed neighborhood bar atmosphere! A wide variety of drinks from behind the bar and the beer is always cold. Plus, the prices are amazing. You really need to stop in for a Smash burger soon!!!

I stopped in on Christmas eve, and was warmly welcomed by the staff. I had a wonderful Smashburger Special. I highly recommend it! The service was top-knotch, as was the food and atmosphere. I will gladly return!

In town for the day and wanted a salad bar so stopped here and so glad we did! Broccoli cheddar soup seemed homemade and hot. Salad bar had lots of options. Loved getting to try all the fluffs-the desert fluff was amazing. It was about $9 which was a great price. Service was great!

We have been here 4 times and each time the salad bar was fresh and the service was wonderful. Everyone is so friendly and really make you feel that they care that you are enjoying the food. This is quickly becoming a regular place for us to eat dinner.

My husband and I went to have their advertised Easter Meal Special and we both can say is this: service was excellent, food was great but most of all, the people were so humble, great sense of humor,considerate, so so nice and genuinely concern about their customers. Definitely will be back!!! Prices are very reasonable also!!!!!

First and last visit here. When we sat down and were ready to order, 3 out of the 4 of us were told they couldn’t make the entrees off the menu we had asked for because there wasn’t a cook in the kitchen. When the food came out only 3 out of the 4 meals came out because the waitress forgot the last persons order and didn’t bother asking what they ordered again until everything was done. When reminded what the last order was we were informed they didn’t have any more so they had to again choose something else. Everything that came from that kitchen was old and burnt tasting. Talked to the waitress when it came time to pay as we all only had a bite out of our food and the best she could do was take 1 meal off. Disgusting and disappointing.
