We had an awesome seafood experience at The Crab Shack! The snow crab legs were perfectly seasoned and piled high — sweet, meaty, and cooked just right. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, and the drawn butter and saltines made it the perfect Southern-style feast. You can’t beat the relaxed beach vibe, friendly service, and great portions for the price. If you’re in Folly Beach and craving seafood, this is the spot!

The first day we ate there was great. Katie was our server. Very nice. Meal was 51 dollar. Ten dollar tip . The next day a blonde was our server. Meal was 49 dollars . I gave her a cash tip of 10 dollars. When it posted on my checking account the amount was 61 dollars. Be sure to mark on the tablet if you give cash. A22 dollar tip for a 49 dollar meal is way to much.

Had the fried shrimp and flounder with new potatoes and coleslaw. The food came to the table hot. The flavor was amazing incredible. The fish and shrimp was fried to perfection and not overly battered and fried hard. Our server was on it. Had a great time.

The crispy fish sandwich and french fries were tasty and reasonably priced, especially considering the size. The blue crab bucket was also a hit. It came with potatoes and corn on the cob. Service got a little slow at the end because they were a little busy but overall service was good. Atmosphere was casual.

To was the first time at this establishment in Foley Beach. My wife and I decided to give this establishment a chance. The drinks were just okay, the grilled seafood was very salty, wife had the crab legs and shrimp which was price kind of high, the season was just okay, nothing to brag about, that my opinion. I’ve been around the city and country and have had better. Your bill will be high. If I’m going to spend that much money, I want to be able to brag about the establishment and its service . The establishment is old and needs lots of updates in dining areas and other areas . This would be the last time visiting this establishment. Good luck with your experience .

On vacation first local restaurant we tried and it scored a 10 with all 5 of us. Hearty portions, fast and flavorful. Accommodated our wheelchair and service dog like pros. Would highly recommend.

What a great place to eat and at a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and checked on us often. The waitress even brought celery for my gluten free daughter to try the crab dip with. Only a few options for those non sea food loves but the pork was delicious… the hush puppies was amazing and the family enjoyed their seafood as well

The atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food is what keeps me coming back to the Folly Beach Crab Shack! The restaurant is a short walk to and from the beach and satisfies any seafood cravings from fried to steamed. The she crab soup is the best I’ve had from a restaurant and the closest to grandma’s recipe. The blue crab dip makes for an amazing appetizer and you can tell what the secret ingredient is.. love. The staff does a wonderful job at making you feel welcome. When visiting Folly, be sure to enjoy a meal at The Crab Shack! I highly recommend.

This place has the BEST crab legs in Folly Beach, hands down! I highly recommend the Snow Crab Bucket—absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Every bite was perfection. Honestly, I wish I had ordered more legs to take on the road with me! If you’re a seafood lover, this spot is a must-try

We started off next door at The Raw Bar which is practically connected to The Crab Shack. The Raw Bar is just a Bar lol no food.

It was a weekend and fairly busy at the beach. But we got seated at The Crab Shack just before it got really busy.
There was live music that day and we enjoyed the band.

We started off with She Crab Soup and Shacks Chilled Blue Crab Dip for an appetizer. Both were good.

Next we split the Fried Captains Platter. There is plenty to share! The food tasted great to us.

Great service despite it being very busy. We’d definitely east here again.
