The food overall was very good, especially the vegetarian burrito and the naked burrito, both of which were fresh, flavourful, and filling. The loaded fries were also enjoyable and well prepared. One small downside was the rice, which felt a bit over-dried and could have been cooked better, which was slightly disappointing.
That said, the atmosphere really stands out—vibrant, comfortable, and well lit, with seating that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive; when I hurt my hand, a staff member immediately helped with an ice pack and checked on my wellbeing multiple times, which was truly appreciated.
Overall good place to enjoy Scottish version of Mexican cuisine.
The service is great as well as whatever is ready first comes out first, there is never a long wait either which is fabulous for when you are hungry (or come with a hangry person!). I have never had a bad item that has needed to be sent back, this can be said for both the city centre and west end location.
Some food items do lack a bit of flavour unfortunately and could be seasoned to match the more authentic vibe of Mexican better, but we keep coming back because this place is always a fan favourite, and we do love a little sumbrero from time to time as well.
We’ll no doubt be back soon
and he was so patient and helpful, thank you for an amazing dinner and an even better service !
The service was amazing and very accommodating. That much I liked. But the food wasn’t as good as the service was. The price wasn’t bad though.
I would not recommend it as a place to have a proper Mexican place but I would rather say it is a safe option.
Good atmosphere and vibe. Chicken enchilada is divine. Tacos and chimichangas are awesome. Cocktails are great. Don’t forget to order churros at the end. Freshly fried and the chocolate sauce I could have a bath in
Decor and ambiance are great and staff is helpful and friendly.
Price matches the good quality of the food and the cocktails are tasty but could do with less ice.
Also the “Automatically added yet optional ( ♂️) service charge” of 10% is a bit of strange way to claim the service was good. Please let people decide themselves if the service was to their liking and spending budget.
The place is clean, the staff are attentive and everything is very quick – we were under 20 minutes from ordering to all dishes being brought out.
One small gripe I have is the lager I recieved was on the tepid side. It was just about drinkable but I wouldn’t order it again. The cocktails, like the food, were as you would expect in a larger restaurant or a chain.
Prove wise slightly higer than similar places but not expensive given the location.
