We visited the Dennys on Fairfield Road in Columbia SC, it was only 1 server and a packed house compared to their usual crowd. The cook came out, took our order and the food was amazing!! I’m really pleased with this experience and my man taking the initiative to be great in the middle of the storm. I don’t feel like I provided the tip he deserved, because I didn’t have it! So, Dennys please reward the cook at this location for costumer retention, great customer service, and overall being a team player!!

Ms. Joe was my waitress and she was amazing! I stopped here on a whim to use my birthday coupon for my grand slam and she was accommodating and helped me with the menu. Outside of her services, the restaurant was clean and welcoming, the food was cooked JUST the way I ordered it and the staff really seemed to enjoy working with one another. It was like stepping into someone’s warm and loving home! I am very rarely on this side of town, but now when I am, I have a new favorite place to stop!

Waited over an hour for our food! Asked for management, they were no help! Everyone at the table received their food, I was told they were still waiting for fries!!! I asked about the kids eating free EVERYDAY with an adult entree from 4-10PM, I was told no, only on a certain day! Customers that came in with us, had already ate and gone! Dirty floors and terrible service!

1/29/26-2:15PM-2, 55PM Professional Driver.
I stopped in to pickup a order to go. The person greeting me and taking my order started with “What Chew Want!” I ordered and tipped 12%.
After waiting 30 minutes (for a salad) I checked my bag and noticed that part of my order was missing and I was concerned about the appearance of another item. I brought it to the attention of the Manager (Malisa) who then retrieved the bowl from my hand, looked at it and literally Threw It on the counter towards me and stated “That’s the way it come. Ain’t nothing I can do about it. When I asked ” Why did you throw that at me”? A second waitress picked it up with 4″ fingernails with her nail Inside of the bowl touching the food.
The SAD thing about it is I was one who Boycotted, was a part of the litigation in the 90’s to help ensure that people who looked like Me were able to become Managers or work outside of the Kitchen and didn’t have to Wait 2hrs longer than others to be served at Denny’s. WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT!!! They can’t even muster the Professionalism to act like they want to be there.

My best friend and I went for lunch at this location on Tuesday, 12/16/2025. Jakayla was our server. She greeted us with the biggest smile and welcomed us to the restaurant. She was friendly and polite as well as professional. Our lunch was delicious and we look forward to going back. I spoke to the manager in order to give Jakayla a compliment. It was a great experience!

This place rocks! Last night. I was a little disappointed and this morning I mentioned it to my waitress. She mentioned it to the general manager and I am well. Pleased! Food was great. Katherine the day shift waitress was awesome! The lumberjack slam is plenty for two people!

When into walked into the restaurant I was greeted kindly and seated by Anna. She was very kind and helpful. I decided to order a burger with some potatoes on the side. The cook John came out of the back to greet me and asked if I wanted anything else to go on my burger. I told him everything that I wanted and shortly after that he brought out my food. The presentation was amazing. My mouth was watering before I even took a bite. The potatoes were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The burger sent me over the edge. The food was so good it made me want to slap my mama. Then the beautiful manager Sarah came out to ask if I enjoyed the food. She was also kind and made me feel at home. The meal and customer service was phenomenal. I will definitely be back to enjoy another amazing meal.
