This is my first time here. My husband and I wanted to try something new and OH MY GOODNESS!!! Best Pancakes Ive ever had, ham steak was so tender and delicious. Both employees we interacted with had the best attitudes & personalities!! Will definitely be back here!!!

It’s definitely a hit or miss. Waitresses can sometimes forget your utensils, and for God’s sake, if someone asks you for a cinnamon roll instead of pancakes, just make an upcharge. Don’t tell your customers they can’t make the substitution. I mean, we would have understood. We would have just asked for it to go, which we did, and she still forgot to give it to us. Thank goodness we weren’t charged. I’ve been waiting to write this review because I wanted to go a few times so I could write a review that’s based on more than one visit. But literally every visit is a hit or miss. The food is okay, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to this restaurant. It definitely needs more seasoning. Hash browns should have some flavor, not just be mush. Pancakes were good; I’ll give them that. But every time I’ve been here, which is a total of about four visits because my sister likes it, it seems like we are either bothering the waitress or she completely forgets something or ignores us after the food has arrived.

I would give this place zero stars if I could, but the food was okay. Service was absolutely an atrocious. Our server only came over twice and avoided us. She greeted and handed us our check after 20 minutes of us having our food. Water was lukewarm. Biscuit and gravy did not come prepared. 3.99 for a “side” of fruit is ridiculous. It had 2 slices of melon and 1 grape. Horrible experience. They need to fire that waitress. She did not give us her name. She was blonde, medium build, and her clothes were a mess!! Stained in the back, and oversized shirt. This is not your house, it is a restaurant and your job.

Upon arrival, the waitress said 20 min wait o orders. I wanted it to try food anyhow. The waitress is very talkative that she forgets 10xs to bring us our utensils but kept checking back in prior to ordering n after ordering. I am anticipating this to be so delicious. False narrative!! Absolutely disgusting. We have 4 cooks in the back n the wait was more like 30 min. There was a heap of ppl but not crowded.
2ndly of reasons not to return is their women’s bathroom. You know how u can always tell if a restaurant is goin to b good if u check out rr. There’s holes in the wall of the toilet n writings on the bathroom door. It was so dusty in there like nobody cleans the bathroom n if so barely.. Our food arrived, well 1 did n I sat n waited for the utensils to arrive. The waitress asked y I didn’t ask for utensils. In response, she was busy.
3rdly, the gravy they use for the chicken or steak fried is absolutely disgusting. The ladle they use touched every plate of food. They don’t have a lid on top of it. Their flies in the restaurant landed on top of the ladle as well as the gravy. The chicken fried chicken was mainly bread n super super dry!! The chicken n waffle platter was super dried out chicken as if they refried the chicken, yuck! The waffle was not warm or even hot to touch bc my butter i put on did not melt whatsoever… This place needs to be checked out thoroughly by the state!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

For me this is an OK breakfast restaurant.
I got a Ham & Cheese Omelet and I added onions. It was good. The ham and the onions were not cooked and they were just thrown on the omelet. It didn’t bother me, it tasted good. But my wife didn’t like it.
I didn’t like the home fries, they tasted like they were made a while before the rest of the food. They didn’t looked fresh either.
We ordered a Pecan waffle and it was delicious. The pecans were crushed and they were in the batter. The orange juice was good, like freshly squeezed.
The coffee tasted good but it was warm but not really hot. We got more coffee and it was the same.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.

I don’t know where to start? Upon reading the reviews it’s a mixture of everything bad about this so called staple of a restaurant! They have been in business for decades and each time I have been ( which it has been awhile)!…The last time I found a long nasty greasy hair in my food! Wanted to give it another shot …NOT SURPRISED! it’s the same deplorable mess!!!!…non-chalant behavior….poor customer service and ADHD non-attentive waitresses….some should be retiring at the same time that this restaurant should be retiring!!! I really don’t know how they managed to stay in business with the food they serve…..You know it’s bad when the biscuit and gravy is ice cold! The Florentine chicken omelet was rubbery and rushed and the hash browns were crunchy browns! …no one greeted us and when they (FINALLY) after waiting in line with no one else behind us? Seated us…no silverware or napkins until I asked for it .! Every waitress around looking lost…bringing inedible food back to the front to be addressed….mad and confused looks on their faces …and on and on and on…good golly I could write a darn book! They appeared to be busy from the doorway…but the restaurant was half full!! I am sure the original owners have been long gone and turning over in their graves with this HOT MESS!!

I’ve eaten at Beverly’s for decades today was not their best day. The kitchen screwed up our order. The waitress,Mary, was great she tried to have the order corrected and the cook just made it worse. So they covered the meal which became a bit of a hassle because they couldn’t do the refund until several hours later. The manager was kind when I had to return. The service is genuine but the food today, let’s just say it was below par.

I came here because my S.O. swore they were the best waffles ever.
We tried 4 times and they were terrible all 4 times. We kept coming back though because the chicken fingers were amazing. Light crispy breading with great seasoning and brined chicken. Delicious. That is til this last time we said okay no waffles just the tenders and we got this. More batter than chicken and the chicken we did find was so dry it had hard browned layer.
Oddly, our friend order the waffle and it was great. So this place is hit or miss.
Also note my yellow mayo that’s not butter.
The okra was also over cooked and not in the good way.
The pile you see is the the over cooked excess crust. I love chicken crust but I have my limits and really enjoyed the original batter.
