Changed name or ownership, but what used to be Lovers Lane Buffet is now Waha Buffet. Nothing has changed and everything seems exactly the same. Had I not tried to look up the place on maps and gotten confused with not being able to find the name, would never have known anything had changed.
Still has a nice hibachi and pho. All your staple Chinese buffet fare is there. Sometimes you just need to quench that hunger and they hit the spot.
Oh, one thing did kind of change – the sushi selection was more mediocre than how I remembered. I remember at least eating a plate of sushi before, but while I did grab a few pieces, I couldn’t see anything better than California rolls and very heavy rice at that. Wouldn’t come for sushi.
But Chinese, good.

Love this new place, so busy, food is brought out constantly, plenty of room to sit at tables, 2 dining rooms, the Hibachi grill is my favorite, you pick the meats and Veggies you want and they grill it all for you. They also have a fresh soup staion that you pick food and they make for you. They have fresh chicken and broccoli, many different shrimp, so much food, desserts, fresh fruit, pudding, salad, mushrooms, coconut shrimp, chicken and brocoli, onion rings, fish, egg rolls, spring rolls, pot stickers, dumplings, terriki Chicken, crab ragoon, crayfish, and they have freshly made sushi rolls and alot of fresh fruit and desserts like cherry jello, chocolate pudding, cakes and cookis and so much more and its like $15.99. My new favorite place, the wait staff are all so good and clear your plates and bring you water, soda, tea. Grear place to visit and eat with your family and friends. A+ A+A+A+A+A+A+

It’s a buffet, so I suppose you need to set your expectations. We love Asian cuisine and sushi, but would normally go to a sit down restaurant. Our lunch plans changed, so we ended up coming here for a quick lunch.
The place is big inside, with two separate large rooms. The buffet is set up in the first room, with seating, and then there is an entirely separate room that is just for seating. It was busy when we arrived around 12:30 on a Friday. Lots of groups of people. We got seated right away.
The buffet is large with lots of choices: fruits, hot entrees, baked fish, sushi, etc. Don’t like any of those Asian choices? They even had pizza and garlic bread available.
I tried many of the different items, and honestly, I was not impressed with any of them. Most of the fried items had too much breading. The fish was overcooked and bland. The sushi was mostly rice, with very little raw fish (but they had other veggie or cooked rolls). The cream cheese wontons were not bad, and some of the desserts were okay.
I don’t mind a buffet, but I was sincerely disappointed that most of the items were not that good. The lunch price is very reasonable, and I suppose, like the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.” The service was very good, and our drinks and dirty plates were well attended to.
Not a place that I’m likely to return to.

Haven’t had buffet food in a long time…they had a good variety of food. The food was not salty like most buffets. They were busy when we get there but they had fresh food coming out all the time!

Come check out Waha !! It’s a great buffet that offers a wide variety of food. Things we all eat from chick to pizza and fries or some fresh fruit.. to their specialty dishes in hibachi and lo mein. Pho. General Tso chicken. It’s a great and they also have a sushi bar with plenty different sushi’s. Different desserts as well if you’re into that kinda thing. Overall 10/10 experience. Service was persistent in a way that ensured I was seen. High recommendable place. Will be back again.

The food is amazing, I love the variety. I feel like they have enough hard hitting dishes to make it worth going.
The foot traffic in this place is CRAZY but the longest I’ve waited was 30 minutes (could be worse). The nice part about that is your food is always going to be fresh. The staff have a good system for getting people in and seated as quickly as possible.
I’m giving them a 4 start for atmosphere just because it’s so noisy and busy BUT that’s to be expected when the place is good.

There’s a great variety of dishes to choose from, so everyone can find something they’ll love. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and made me feel truly welcome.
