My experience at Sam’s Boat on Richmond 09/13/25, was phenomenal. My server was Cindy, who was attentive, joyful and efficient. Cindy you rock! I ordered grilled lemon pepper chicken wings along with a shrimp and avocado salad. Both food options were delicious. Cindy informed me of the drink special, which was a great choice for me, a peach margarita. Thank you Cindy and kudos to the bartender. There is plenty of parking and very spacious inside and out for everyone who dines at Sam’s Boat.

I only go during crawfish season! The crawfish have been tasting the same so their consistency is cool! They were a bit on the small side but hey they still were good.. The place wasn’t that packed on a Friday night very surprising. To top it off I’ll give them a 7/10 for the crawfish…

We went at 3pm and it was a good crowd but not to many people. Food came out very fast even the waitress was surprised.

I come here about once a month while I wait for my car to get washed next door at Splash Hand Car Detail. This red hot crispy chicken sandwich is one of their lunch specials for only $11! They have pretty good drink specials too and have alot of TVs for the games.

I googled seafood places and found this place. I picked due to the patio area as it is a nice day out. Great seasoning of crawfish I got the extra spicy and boy did they not disappoint on that…I will see the toilet later. Service was amazing as I went around lunch time.

Sam’s Boat is a very cool establishment. The patio is great for warm days and there are lots of screens to watch sports, big and small. Lots of seating and an eclectic crowd come here. Food is pretty standard. I ordered the shrimp poy boy. It was not bad but nothing stood out for me. I did enjoy the fries. Shrimp was crispy and well cooked. Also ordered the crawfish. The seasoning has a nice spiciness to it but didn’t penetrate to the meat. Service was a bit on the slower side, it looked like there was only 1 waitress for the entire patio, which is massive. Took over 10 minutes to get my bill paid.

Attracted by the smell of crawfish so bought a pound with all sides. The prawns were great, crawfish was tasty, but the cons were crawfish were small (had to attack the claws for more meat!), sausage were tasteless, potato and corn were tiny.
