This used to be our spot but let’s talk about how BADLY this place has changed. We got our drink order put in after waiting 20 minutes and the poor girl at the register felt bad for us so she came and took it for us. We waited another 10 minutes before our server came and took our order. All Together we waited an hour for the food that never came, but you know what did come? The fruit flies, we were starving so we stayed but guess what the food never came. After an hr of killing fruit flies at our table, we decided enough was enough and wanted to speak to the manager, who claimed she didn’t know we had been waiting an hr for the food, BUT approved for us to have our food taken off our bill because we waited an hr. My husband and I both work in the food industry for at least 20 years (both General managers) once I saw the manager say she wasn’t coming to the table, that set me off because DON’T you dare send the poor server, that’s on you to deal with. Then said “we’re doing our best” when it comes to the fruit flies, but insisted she didn’t know why we hadn’t got our food after waiting an hour. I feel bad for the servers because it isn’t their fault. It definitely think twice before coming here. The management needs to do better about being held accountable for their workers. I’ll include a picture of our drinks covered so that the flies didn’t go inside.

If I could give this location a ZERO star review, I would. Also, I wish I had read some of these recent reviews before trying to go here last night… My partner and I walked in 1.5hr before close, the hostess on duty finally greeted us after 5 minutes of awkwardly standing there. Her attitude was extremely lackluster to say the least – after a weird back and forth exchange about what kind of table we wanted, she sat us in what looked like a relatively popular section. I say popular, because it was NOT busy. There were maybe 3 other tables in that section, only 2 of those 3 still eating and drinking, 1 table was closed out. We sat at our table and watched the server actively ignore us for 10-15 minutes. She checked in on all her other tables, while looking in our direction but NEVER stopping. Not a single employee talked to us once we got sat. We got up and left without ordering a single thing. Safe to say that I will NEVER try to come back to this particular location. It’s absolutely insane that there is no accountability or any sort of reprimand for what seems to be continued terrible service. Please do better.

I’ve been to this location multiple times, and unfortunately it has consistently disappointed. For a place that always attracts a large crowd—especially during football season—the food should be fresh and the service efficient.
I visited two weeks ago during a game, and the experience was terrible. We waited over an hour for just two orders. The fried pickles were cold and unpleasant, and the shrimp was only lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out. The drinks were just as disappointing—mostly juice, with maybe half a shot of alcohol.
What made the situation worse was the lack of communication. If there was going to be such a long wait, we should have been told. Instead, we sat for an entire hour before we could even get the server’s attention to ask what was going on. We sent the fries back, but even the replacement was still cold. At that point, I should have sent the entire meal back, but I just wanted to leave.
Overall, this establishment really needs to get it together when it comes to both food quality and service. I will not be returning.

Everything was just ok. Our server seemed to be confused about the menu and how to ring things in. The wing sauce does not have a lot of flavor. Mild definitely described the heat level and flavor level. It wasn’t a bed visit, but I dont think I am their target market.

*Skip this Hooters* Submitted an on line order at noon to pick up at 6pm. Granted thwre was football on so game wasnt till 7 figured enought time right?! Wrong! Their pick up area is a mess. Manager more concearned with keeping area free of people and said their PAYING pick up order customers CAN WAIT OUTSIDE and called the cops. Cops were cool and had us cram into the area then they left. Servers also crabby. The manager is useless. They could have a tv showing the orders that are ready but instead have a crabby waitress yelling out names and writing them on a little school note pad. Geez give this woman a tablet or something. Reinvest in the restaurant. Unless you got 2 hrs to burn waiting skip this hooters. I also submitted a response to those emails you get asking you how the order went but you guessed it, no response from Hooters. A fail. But their wings and shrimp are good Ha!

Food was good as always and service was okay. Would have been better if they didn’t lie and say the blender was broken when I ordered a frozen drink, but it was working when we were getting sat and was actively going 2 minutes prior to ordering the drinks .

my friend and I went to dinner today.when we arrived the waitress was very friendly. and he didn’t say that he had to wait 30 minutes to be able to give us a table.Everything is going very well. Our waitress was Xiomara a very friendly person. The problem was that we waited more than 45 minutes for the food, when the.the restaurant is not so crowded. the problem is the mannager who is not aware of the cooks they spend at the bar talking to the waitresses, and watching their cell phone, and watching TV. then some ladies came and sat next to us and waited for more than a few hours and they didn’t bring her what they ordered. Who preferred to leave cancel what they had ordered. I think the manager has a lot to do with that aspect. It was my first time there it was going to be my last time going to eat there. Of course, I have to say that the waitress Xiomara did a good job, it’s not her fault. If you need any proof to show you that I went there, I have the receipt. If they don’t want to lose customers, the cooks have to be in the kitchen, the manager has to keep an eye on everything. And not waiting for a client to leave to do their job.

We only go there when Alexis works! She is a great bartender, if she isn’t working when we go we just leave. Great attitude, just a beautiful person inside and out. Hooters in Oak Lawn is lucky to have a great employee as herself !
