This place is a horrible. They have ALWAYS been slow, regardless of how many customers they have. Despite not being busy at all, they were super slow to taking your order and getting you a drink. There was a family with children who came in after us and left because no one was taking their drink order after 15 minutes of waiting at their table. It took 10 minutes or more before we got our drink and food order taken. It took at least another 10 minutes to get our one cup of coffee and one glass of coke, light ice. It was not light ice. I ordered the strawberry and custard French toast with the strawberries and syrup on the side, bacon extra crispy, eggs over medium and no sausage. She came back after about a half an hour from ordering to tell me they messed up and put all of the stuff on the toast, and said it would be another 5 minutes to wait. I said that’s fine. It was another 10 minutes before we both got our food. Mine came with two sausage links, not crispy bacon, and warm eggs. I ate one egg and none of the meat. My boyfriend ordered a crispy chicken on the barbecue chicken sandwich, no barbecue sauce. He asked if they could do that, and she said, “yes, I think so,” since they removed his favorite chicken sandwich from the menu. He got a grilled chicken sandwich. He’s said, “hey, this was supposed to be fried.” She said, “they don’t have that option.” She asked if that was ok. He said it was fine. He took a few bites and it was not fine. se asked if he wanted them to remake it. After a couple of bites, he said yes. He sat and ate his fries, which weren’t even as many as it shows on their menu. I finished my food before his sandwich showed up. It was over fried and they CUT IT ALMOST COMPLETELY IN HALF TO MAKE SURE IT WAS COOKED! It was definitely cooked more than enough. She was very fast to come checus out. Not eating here again. We will go to Bob Evans at the next exit from now on.

This looks nothing like the advertised online for Turkey dinner. I was lucky to get four bites of macaroni and cheese or four bites of the mashed potatoes for 17 bucks. I was left hungry and very disappointed. I won’t be coming back here again…

We went when it was between lunch and dinner rush. The place was quiet and clean. Bathrooms were also clean and fresh.
Husband ordered the Grand Slam breakfast. The food was cooked perfectly. Neither of us were a fan of the sausage links, but that could just be a taste preference.
I ordered the Cali Club with onion rings. That was the best club sandwich I’ve ever had. And the onion rings were phenomenal, not bland – which is what I’ve come to expect lately.
Our waitress was awesome.
The “old style” Denny’s restaurant is a wonderful throwback.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here.

Edit: Dennys responded fairly quickly, apologized for my experience & sent a free meal coupon in the mail. I appreciate the effort & will use the coupon.
My daughter picked up a take out order, late night dinner after work for herself, Friday 12/05/2025, about 10:30pm.
Her dinner looked pretty decent.
She also picked up an order of sausage gravy & biscuits for me for breakfast tomorrow.
All I can say other than being disappointed, is its at least edible. What there is of it. I’m thinking maybe this is a “dietary serving” since there’s barely any sausage & its a bit overcooked at that. Haven’t ate at or from Denneys in years, thats not going to change anytime soon.

Besides being short staffed and the atmosphere a little “dark”…. it was a great experience. The waitress we had was excellent and the food was OUTSTANDING!
I got the berry stuff french toast slam. I was totally expecting frozen strawberries on top, but they were FRESH and delicious! I was so glad that I took the chance and tried it. Highly recommend.

We had actually stopped here because my wife remembered the location as a truck stop diner. It has been a few things since. This was a good looking place, clean, good colors. Our server Allecia, was excellent. Effective, charming, knowledgeable about the area and building history.

The water was cold ha. The French toast was good. My pancake was still completely uncooked in the middle. I ordered extra crispy hash browns and they were still undercooked. Our server Leigh was nice. Just your normal truck stop Denny’s atmosphere. Was cleaner that usual truck stop diners.

Major staffing problem on Valentine’s Day. Tables not bussed. Long wait. Hash browns were separated like pick-up sticks and were BLACK not golden. Paid more even with discount than at most competitors for similar order. Nice very apologitic waitress was overwhelmed!!!

We ate at Denny’s this morning, Christmas Eve. I guess they may have been short-staffed, which given it is a stop right off of I-70, on the day before a holiday, with a lot of interstate traffic, I would think there should have been more front and kitchen staff.
We were seated way in the back. People seated after us got their food before we did. Had to ask twice for bad coffee, hot tea, watery orange juice, water. When our drinks finally got to us, the server brought sweet tea. Again, we had to ask for hot tea. Took probably 40 minutes to get our meals. Bacon was undercooked and cold. Eggs did not taste like right. I saw either some fiber or hair on my toast. By that point, I wasn’t going to eat anything more anyway, so it was not worth even mentioning. And, after our meals finally made it to the table, I had to get up to go find the server to get silverware.
We spent $34 for bad food and bad service. We live in the area and have been to this Denny’s a few times. Never. Again.
