The place is very nice, clean, and good crowd. The food was very good, quick service and prices were very reasonable. I must give a shout out to the lady who was bartending, taking orders and serving food. She was all by herself and she handled everything perfectly! She was calm and very polite, attentive . I don’t know how she does it but you would never guess that one person could handle all those people. Mind you there was a good crowd. We will definitely be back

This place is such a hidden gem. All of the food is delicious and done exceptionally well. I had southwest egg rolls a chili cheese burger and buffalo chicken fingers. They were exactly what I wanted. The entire staff are all stars but Gavin and Johnny Jackson are so accommodating and professional I almost wanted to order 3 more dinners just so I can hangout longer. They also have a ton of tvs and the vibes are outstanding. If you’ve made it this far just go to old state tavern!

We arrived early for a party nearby after 3 hours on the road. My wife always finds us great places. Old State Tavern was half a mile from our final destination.

I’d had a couple of bad experiences at this place early, and had previously posted a bad review, but they’ve been very good about course correcting. This is a decent place to come and unwind. I just happened to hit a bad stretch here, but since then, I’ve actually made some new friends. The drink and food prices are reasonable, quality of food is good, tenders are usually great.

I almost gave up on Media’s Cheesesteak game, I am glad I did not!! Very good neighborhood bar. Bartenders were very friendly. Very good cheesesteak. Great roll. Good amount of meat. Very good amount of cheese and melt. A little light on mushrooms. I am sorry, it was 11 am super bowl Sunday so it may have been my mouth but I did like the consistency of the meat. I don’t know if it needed to be chopped more or less. Over all very good experience.

This is the quintessential corner sports bar. Cold beer and burgers are a gimme (Don’t recommend the wings though)…very attentive and friendly bar tenders. Did I say cold beer?! Hog heaven for an Eagles fan! Update today : very disappointed in cheesesteaks. ( usually great). Half the meat even with onions. Bummer. Still a great place.
