What really stood out was the service. Our server handled our group like a pro—super friendly, always checking in without being pushy, and made sure everyone got exactly what they ordered. It’s not easy keeping a group happy, but they really nailed it.
Food-wise, everything was spot on. I had the spaghetti and it hit all the right notes—classic, flavorful, and really satisfying. Someone else in our group had the lasagna and I got a bite (or two)—cheesy, saucy, and honestly one of the better ones I’ve had in a while. Plus, those breadsticks kept coming and were as addictive as ever.
The whole lunch felt relaxed and easy, like we could actually enjoy our time without feeling rushed or ignored. It’s not a fancy spot, but that’s part of the charm—just good food, great service, and a chill vibe. Definitely a solid choice for a group lunch. We all left happy and full.
What makes this even more disturbing is that another couple was seated right next to them about five minutes later and was immediately greeted and served while my parents continued to be ignored. There was no reasonable explanation for the difference in treatment.
This felt discriminatory and deeply disrespectful. No customer should ever feel overlooked or treated differently, especially when the restaurant is not busy. This experience was completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed by management immediately. I will also be contacting corporate.
We ordered single-course meals, no appetizers, entrees, etc.. Our bill was $56, well worth it because the food was amazing and it was a treat for us since we don’t eat out much. Afterward, Hanna was the one who came to collect the payment, queueing up the tablet attached to the table. Once she processed my card, she asked if the tip should be taken from the card or given in cash… she did NOT ask if I even wanted to tip, but I told her cash anyway- played it off as an ‘in the moment’ thing and didn’t fault her.
Since we technically had two waitresses, I asked her how the tips were distributed amongst the waitresses. She told me they go to the waitress assigned to that specific table/order, not split evenly amongst the waiting staff. Taking her word for it, I asked if she’d make a note to have it split between her and Theresa, she said no problem. I placed the cash on the table between myself and my family and she promptly reached to pick it up, and then proceeded to count it in front of us. While I’ve never had someone count their tip money in front of me, this wasn’t really a problem, just kinda made things awkward? She seemed satisfied with the amount and did say thank you, and that was the end of it.
