I was just there a week ago yesterday and, it was the first time in two years. I was extremely disappointed . It was the WORST steak and cheese sub that I’ve ever had. It was loaded with so much oil it was disgusting . If I ever get back to Niagara Falls again I will definitely go somewhere else to eat.

The original and the best Viola’s! Greatest submarines n Hoagies in the Falls maybe even the world. They have been at this location since 1958 one bite and its easy to tell why!! Its always been a special treat for me my whole life to come there and get one. Quality, Taste and Employees make this sub Great . No one can duplicate your flavor on Elmwood!! I don’t get to this area of the country very often. I was disappointed that there is no longer any seating as it is take out only (Elmwood location). This business is providing a service in a dying community. I hope it is still here the next time I am in the area.

Always Good vibes when I go have never had an issue with service. My favorite since I was young so I’ve been eating here for over 40yrs. The go to place when we have visitors in town. This particular spot cause the Grill is seasoned so you won’t get the same taste anywhere else there is a violas my opinion but Most will Agree. My uncles, Brothers, Any Family who come home MUST HAVE ONE before leaving. IT’S JUST AN ALL TIME NIAGARA FALLS STAPLE. Should be marked as a landmark of decades. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS WE ALL APPRECIATE AND LOVE YOU.

I grew up on Viola steak and cheese subs. Every time I come to visit, this is the first stop as I cross the grand island bridge into the Falls.
Treated the wife and stepson to a cheese steak, and they both stated “this is the best cheese steak I’ve ever had!” It was so good as always. Currently the inside seating area is under renovations, so it is only takeaway service at the side window, and cash only.
