I met my niece here for lunch. It is the halfway(ish) from her place in Oklahoma and Wichita. Our waitress was very cool and only checked on us when our water was low. We stayed four hours. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, pretty good flavor.
And before any Kens or Karens get on here, I tipped extremely well for taking up a table that long, even though during the lunch rush, it did not fill up.

I hope this isn’t a duplicate. My phone is acting wonky. But this is one of the best places I have been in a long time. Their food is outstanding, their team is kind and respectful of everyone’s tiniest needs. They go above and beyond to the point of even hand delivering a gift certificate to a son of mine who is miraculously recovering from a bad accident a long time ago as I live very far away. They even went out at night to make sure he got it before Christmas.

It was around 6pm and there was 6 of us 1 kid age 10, instead of putting a couple of tables together they stuck us in this long corner booth. When the waitress came back she took our Drink order and I had ordered coffee, about 15 minutes later she comes back and said that they were making it fresh for me. But after that all she did was roll her eyes if we asked for anything.

We are a bit disappointed today. Normally, the chicken fried chicken is on point but we dont know what happened. Presentation of the plate still had oil from the chicken dripping in the plate, cutting into the chicken the breading fell off immediately, and the mash potatoes were sour. The gravy just made it worse aside from making it runny. Maybe the normal chef was out but had to leave hungry and unhappy. Maybe we will try another time since many times before it was tasteful.

I had the lemon chicken over rice with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. I reported to the wait staff that the potatos were cold and she just said sorry. No fix it nothing. The Mac and cheese was nasty! It was definitely powdered cheese. I dont know if I will be going back my last two visits were the same.

Yeesh. Friendly went out the door at this place. Showed us a table and dropped the menus and ran. Server came up about five minutes later and said “drinks?” Took our order and was very confused about me asking for pickle chips for my sandwich. Food came out and my dry chicken sandwich had no tomato and lettuce. Just the pickles. Would have asked for them but our server never came back until it was time to pay. Definitely a “pass” on this place next time we come in to town.
