Bought a nigiri deluxe combo from Kroger’s in Kingwood. The tuna so heavily dyed that it turned the rice red. Disgusting. I’ll go t Asian City from now on for real sushi. I mean really! Nasty!! I wish I could post pictures here. Why do food companies dye food to make it “look” more appealing. Are we all that stupid? I for one won’t fall for it again

While grocery shopping at Winco in Tulsa OK I cam across the SnowFox sushi. My girlfriend picked out the New York Crunch Roll for me to try. She doesn’t like sushi herself. Visually it looked great, the wasabi looked a little pale and very little of it. Which is my only complaint and the reason for the 4 star rather than 5 rating. The wasabi is weak. Very weak. Rather disappointing honestly. I do have a fair tolerance but this batch would make a first timer flinch kind of weak. And there could have been more of it for the size of the roll. Other than that the roll was very fresh with a nice texture and great flavor. Will be after more next time i am there. Hopefully the wasabi will be up to par.
