Would love to take credit for finding this terrific barbecue place, but I saw that it was rated highly on Google maps. While I’m from Texas. I’m not sold on the east coast style of vinegar barbecue sauce, but regardless the food and service were excellent. Ate there for dinner Sunday night and came back late Monday afternoon. It is very convenient to the airport. The bartender was very helpful with suggestions and took good care of me. I have been telling people that this is an upscale modern restaurant with easy parking. I highly recommend.

Stopped overnight at Charlotte Airport and spotted this place online, close to our hotel. So glad we stopped in. Great service, our server (Paul, I think) had a lot of good advice. He was welcoming and attentive— great ambassador. Food was excellent. We had the lean brisket but for those who enjoy fat, they can do it that way as well. The pork was really tasty. Brussels were just the way we like them, crispy but fresh tasting. And hush puppies were fine. Great evening. We’d stop again if coming through. Plus they have a social mission.

This place is very nice, friendly staff and great food. The brisket and chopped pork was amazing. I was disappointed that they ran out of sausage though. The hush puppies were delicious but had a peppery flavor to it. The French fries were nice and fresh. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who likes BBQ.

I stopped by Noble Smoke after work to try their barbecue and got the quarter brisket with mac & cheese and fried okra. The brisket was good – tender and rich – but it felt like it was missing a little depth of flavor. I’m not sure if it was the seasoning or something else, but it was just shy of being really great. The Lex sauce, though, was my favorite part and added a nice kick to everything.
The fried okra was good too! I just wish it had been cut into smaller pieces instead of full okra pods, but the aioli that came with it was a nice touch. The mac & cheese was my least favorite part – not bad, just kind of plain. It had some Panko crumbs and herbs on top, but it could’ve used a bit more flavor.
Overall, still a solid meal. The brisket and okra were definitely worth trying, and I’d come back to check out a few other menu items.

Visited on a Sunday evening in late October. No reservation required. Lots of free parking. Excellent service.
Menu is extensive and they have a specials board too. The meat was delicious, and the sides generous in portion side

Some of the best barbecue I’ve had in a really really long time if not the best., ever. The chopped pork sandwich was heavenly, and the jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage, it might be the best sausage in the world. If you’re in the area and you don’t come here, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

Double smoke is great because they do everything right. The service, the food, atmosphere, tons of parking, great for big groups, food fresh, and super fast to your table.
I highly recommend the brisket, the corn, fried onion rings, I would say the mac & cheese needs a little bit more, but overall the place is amazing !

Had great food and service here. Sweat tea is on point. Ordered the nachos with brisket and a chopped brisket sandwich with a side of greens. The nacho chips a freshly fried and thick, which was nice cause they loaded the white queso cheese, pico and corn salsa on them. It didn’t make the chips soggy. But then I noticed they gave you just a small amount of brisket. Ugh. Not cool. But all the flavors were delicious and I would order again. I may ask for all my toppings on the side next time though so I can make a a few small plate of nachos with toppings as I go. You could probably get 4 small plates from it. No complaints about sandwich and greens. Both were great as they were. To go we got an Apple fry pie and a slice of the seasonal apple butter pie. Fry pie was good but small. Apple butter pie was amazing. Like a pumpkin pie consistency with a delicious drizzle on top.

This one is a very special review for me so it will be a little long.
We decided to make a road trip all the way to New Orleans from New York and our main goal was to try bunch of bbq places on our way.
In total we tried 6 different places and one of them was belong to a so-called pit master. Few were ok, the one belong to a pit master was a total disaster and our bbq trip was turning into a disappointment.
On our way back from New Orleans to New York we decided to stay in Charlotte. We were looking for somewhere to eat and we found Noble Smoke. We said “ok, let’s give one more chance to our bbq trip maybe this time it will be as what we expected”.
It was.
We were speechless. How every single thing we tried could be that good?! From brisket to fried okra, EVERY. SINGLE. THING. WAS. AMAZING!!
We got brisket, ribs, okra, pickles, mac&cheese, onion rings and wings. Sides portions were very generous.
You guys saved our bbq trip for sure.
We were so happy.
We will always remember your place as “THE BEST BBQ PLACE”.
Turns out, you don’t need to drive all the way to mid-US to experience a very good bbq. You can basically just go to Charlotte.

First time at NS. I had the brisket and turkey, both excellent with the bbq sauce. The Brussel sprouts were great! Dined outside and the service was top notch and quick. Lots on tap too!
