First time at Burgatory was a great experience. The waitress was very nice and the food here is amazing. Especially the truffle fries. The only downfall is this place is super expensive. I paid almost $70 for two burger meals, two sodas and an app of fries.

This is it. This is my new favorite burger. Since moving to Pittsburgh I’ve been looking around to find who has the best burger. While I’ve had plenty of fantastic burgers in the area, this place officially takes my top spot. Having the choice between a crispy edge smash burger or a thick and juicy patty is great for variety. And the thick patty is super juicy and flavorful. All of the ingredients are fresh and delicious. And the house sauce is fantastic. Even for someone like me that just gets a plain ol’ meat and cheese and sauce with no veggies, it’s delicious. It’s so good that I’m writing this review before I’ve even finished my meal, and now deciding on a milkshake. And nevermind, as I write this the milkshake has come out and it is delicious. I got cookies and cream.
Lucia was very friendly and really helped explain a lot about what Burgatory is about as a restaurant. And I’m loving all of it. If you are on the fence about trying this place or you just need to find one of the best burgers in the Pittsburgh area, go to Burgatory. This will now be my new destination for birthday restaurants.

I dined in at this restaurant and also got some food to go on a Monday. I had to order a shot of grand marnier to sweeten up my margarita because it was very sour. I didnt realize until the next day that more order of chilli did not come with the cornbread and I’m highly upset because I love the cornbread.

Great spot to eat. We stop by when we are in the area before heading back home. Service is great. The bartender. I forgot his name. Was very personable and friendly and attentive and made time to talk to me and my fiance about our hometown, Cleveland, in between customers. The food was excellent. We had the wicked wings and chicken chilli. Both were super yummy!!!

I ordered a bison burger and it was dry and overcooked. The ingredients tasted old. I’ve tried going several times to give the place another chance because I used to enjoy the food, but now I’m feeling disappointed with the quality.
My husband ordered nachos to share, and the plates were dirty and greasy. After seeing that, I couldn’t eat anymore.
Our server provided excellent service.
But the food was terrible.
I didn’t want to complain at the time because I was worried they might do something to my food.
