Amazing food at shockingly good prices! Everything was super high quality and tasted great. The portions were huge and the average entree cost significantly less than other restaurants in the area. Highly recommend the crab dip, the fried fish tacos, the cuban sandwich, and the french fries!

Stopped by after arriving on the island for something to eat before going to our rental. Lilly was very attentive and and engaging during every interaction. There were several food choices from tacos to pizza and more. Several types of beer on tap and bottled. Very highly recommend!

Some of the best restaurants on the beaches of OBX. The Cuban dish I love it is my favorite and they have a starter with exquisite tuna, I recommend it 100% that day we were served by a Hispanic girl who unfortunately forgot her name; but she is from Peru and gave us excellent service. Thank you very much it was definitely a pleasant experience !!!

We enjoyed our lunch at BB’s. The Tropical grill is decked out and serves great food. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp, Cuban Steak, Fish Tacos, Mac N Cheese starter, and Waffle Fries for dessert. Everything was spot on except the Coconut Shrimp was small for the price but everything else made up for it. Highly recommended. Follow us @WanderingParents

Popped in here around 11:30 for lunch on a Saturday. Got in right away, and the service was really quick and good. They did a great job with food allergy accommodations. Lots of gluten-free options. The gluten-free pizza was one of the best ones I’ve had in a long time.

We stopped in at Barefoot Bernies and overall it was a great dining experience. The food was fresh, well prepared, and everything came out looking just as good as it tasted. I had the Mahi and shrimp plate with seasoned veggies and rice. The fish had a perfect sear and the shrimp were seasoned just right. My only critique is that I wish the dish had come out a bit hotter. It was just barely warm when served which took away slightly from an otherwise excellent plate.
We also tried the crab cake sandwich which was spot on. The crab cake was packed with flavor, golden on the outside, and paired perfectly with crisp lettuce, tomato, and their house made sauce. The fries were hand cut and cooked just right, crunchy on the outside with a soft bite inside. Presentation on everything was clean and you could tell the kitchen pays attention to detail.
If you are in the area and want a laid back spot with solid seafood and fresh ingredients, Barefoot Bernies is definitely worth the stop. Just a little extra heat on the seafood and this would have been a perfect meal.

Really good food, we have the mahi mahi sandwich and it was fantastic.So it was the guacamole. We’re here in october, so they have drink specials for halloween. We had the witches brew n another one.
