Service was horrible I haven’t been here in a minute and today I decide to go by I ordered 1 order of 3 traditional tacos and an order of 1 individual large $8 taco. I waited over 30 mins for that. One of the employees that were prepping latterly kept looking around and moving super slow making orders on her own time no sense of urgency at all. I would not recommend ordering here due to lack of employees urgency. I’m not saying run around like a chicken with your head cut off but if you watched them it would definitely irritate you also. There was “2” customers that ordered after me and got their food before me as well. I’m kind of confused with that because a male employee looked at a girl with braids and pointed and she said “I don’t know” I literally watched her. I WOULD HIGHLY Recommend NOT COMING HERE AGAIN!! BUT IF YOU WANT TO ORDER 4 Tacos No Sides and wait a hour and watch people ordered after you served before you after your order. I ordered at 9:40 I walk to the counter at 9:05 my order was totally forget about and was sitting on the side and i asked like why would I not be called and she said “idk” like what the hell is wrong with these young idiots at the location. Like they were even bringing orders to cars. Got 4 tacos almost a hour later as I typed there while still there and food was cold.

I went here and got two jerk chicken eggrolls and jerk shrimp pasta and it took 15 minutes just to get my order taken as the cashier was very slow and ineffective. The food was not properly wrapped as my food was mushy from sweating in the plastic wrap & my eggrolls were overcooked and have several burnt edges, evident by the photos.

Overall I give it a 2 out of 5. I drove 45 min to get these jerk chicken nachos. I wanted to try them and I have tried every other jerk place up north. I will say I wont go back again. What’s the main ingredient in nachos? I would hope nacho cheese, right? Now i dont know if they did this to be petty or not but I was very displeased. I went in and ordered cause you cant order over the phone just online. I usually ask for extra nacho cheese cause I like my nachos to be nachos. Guy tried charging me $4 for extra nacho cheese? Umm that’s enough for a whole big can of cheese. I said no thank you, you can leave it as is. Normal. I wait the 15 min in my car as the waiting area is kinda weird and awkward. My food is ready I grab it. Tell me why there is a total of 5ml of nacho cheese in the whole damn 18 dollar order of “nachos”. Now idk what kinda pita bread fried “nacho chip” idea they are using there but a nacho chip is supposed to be corn…. those pita breads were oily and thick. It was dry and there was a total of (Im not kidding) 5 ml of nacho cheese through the whole box. I was very disappointed. Flavor was good but those are not nachos. Also ask for less onions cause they put more onions than shredded cheese on there. I was confused. Woulda gave it a one if it wasnt a family owned business tbh.

Salad was specifically requested to leave off certain ingredients, and they put it on there anyway. The drinks were FAYGO brand, and they were dirty and sticky. Coke, Sprite, etc. would be much more preferred, and clean of course. The packaging and paperware were also sub par. Good flavor, but all else needs work.

Took 25min for two eggrolls and jerk shrimp Alfredo pasta , the plastic container is melted from the hot food and the shrimp smells bad like spoiled, this used to be one of my fav Chicago spots it’s a shame how it’s run now. No Napkins No plastic forks or spoon when asked

My boyfriend is originally from Chicago, and he couldn’t wait to bang on some Jerk Taco Man again. We ordered the loaded jerk fries, traditional jerk chicken tacos, jerk pasta, and more. The chicken had a nice amount of flavor and spice, and it was very juicy and tender. The cashier was kind enough to give us a free jerk egg roll for our wait. It’s great that they didn’t skimp on the chicken for the tacos, but I wish the staff offered extra tortillas for the meat. Overall, the food was delicious!

I gave the food a three only because I wasn’t able to try the food. Me and my roommate stopped by to get dinner, but one guy had said he had been waiting over 30 minutes for two items. The cashier was on her phone. The two guys making a food had no gloves on one of them kept going over to the grill, never put gloves on and the cashier then Received somebody else order to pack up instead of washing her hands to put the gloves on She just easily put them on. I’m sorry, but I work at food service and have been working in the food service for the past nine years and I’m not the cleanest person on earth don’t hold me wrong but that has to be a no no. We left better luck somewhere else

I visited Jerk Taco Man with my brother, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere is inviting both outside and inside the restaurant. The employees were professional and provided excellent customer service. The food was outstanding—the meat was tender and full of flavor, and the shrimp tacos were seasoned perfectly. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, and the architecture of the building is unique and different, adding to the overall vibe. I can’t wait to use them for catering. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place truly deserved it!

Horrible horrible and over priced food!!! Do not waste your money or time here. The cabbage was old and barely any in the small container. They first forgot the nasty small over priced Alfredo I had to go back inside and wait for them to make and still forgot the garlic bread stick. The tortilla is a street taco size and was soggy. Not edible . Had to make my own at home. This was not worth $49.07. I will never go back and will tell people to stop going there. I used to brag about this place but babyyyy neverrrrrr again!!!

This location sells old meat. We just left this location and really had a taste Jerk steak tacos. We asked for extra sauce, jerk sauce that is and it was not given to us. The meat was not fresh and it was very hard and tough. I will never shop here again. It should be a crime to sell old meat. Three tacos for $17 is absurd. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
