Large selection of foods to choose from on the buffet. Everything was hot and fresh even for a late dinner. Our server was friendly, fast, and efficient when taking our order. Drinks were brought out before we had even come back from the buffet line. Really nice place with down home style cooked meals.

Loved the setting. It looks like a mini Cracker Barrel. Really cool gift shop in the restaurant front. They have both a menu and a buffet. We chose buffet to keep it short since we weee traveling.
We enjoyed this and it was a nice change from a common chain. Lots of themed decor down to the little details. Cute little gem and great change of pace.

My first trip in to Forrest City, Arkansas and after checking in, I asked a local if there was a great place to eat near the hotel. She recommended the Ole Sawmill Cafe. When I asked her what type of foods they served, she said… just like a Cracker Barrel and as matter of fact, she said that the Ole Sawmill Cafe was the inspiration for the start of Cracker Barrel… hmmmm..
Well, she was absolutely right. Even the interior layout was similar and the food… well… I dug in to the all you could eat buffet . Everything was incredible… and the price was well below $20….awemazing!!!! Terrific gift shop coupled with perfect southern hospitality. My strongest recommendation for you to grab a fantastic meal in Forrest City, Arkansas.

Everyone was super nice from the first step in the door to the very end of our meal!! Fabulous service, Great Food, and Amazing atmosphere!!! Would highly recommend stopping in if in the area!! It is a local restaurant with a variety of foods and an option of a bountiful menu or an all you can eat buffet. We visited during lunch and we enjoyed every bite!!!

Definitely rest stop on drive thru Rt 40 in Arkansas. You get great home-cooked food with an Arkansas flavor. Best cooked catfish in the state. Fried chicken and pork/beef, too. Buckee’s will never take business away from this gem of a restaurant.
