The food tastes fresh. I got a cheeseburger kid’s meal with tots, while my 11yo got a hotdog and fries, and my 9yo just wanted cheese fries and cheese curds. The food was delicious.
Service was pretty quick, the guy taking orders was nice and they were churning out orders. The ambiance was fine for a fast food joint, I did have to clean our table off myself since it was pretty greasy.
After we ate, we went back to order our custard and it was good. It was thick and tasty. I need to join the Freddy’s rewards program because we’ll definitely be back.

I ordered the prime rib steakburger and tots. It was delicious, but the service was not good. Waited over ten minutes to be served and you had over 5 employees and it wasn’t even that busy. My dessert took forever, and I don’t think the employee knew what he was doing. Not sure I’ll return.

Located off of Vineland Ave in Orlando Florida. So many fast food and burger joints to pick from in this vacation capital that it’s hard to pick one. I first had experienced a Freddie’s while visiting Wichita Kansas a few years back which happens to be where this franchise started and I loved it. So needless to say that when I saw this one in Orlando I knew I had to go. It’s a nice location close to many hotels and shopping areas. It’s a pretty location along the road with palm trees around it. The inside sorta has a 50’s diner feel with bright red booths and seating outside as well. It’s typical counter service but the staff are friendly enough. The burgers are the smash style burgers and are served with shoe string fries however you can also get cheese curds or onion rings as a substitute. I got the Freddy’s original double which is cheese, onion, pickle and mustard. Very tasty burger and I love the shoe string fries. The sweet tea is very good too and I’m a stickler for good sweet tea. They also have custard and shakes but I did not partake in those. If you haven’t tried a Freddy’s and you see one run too it!!!!

I love me some Freddie’s but it’s just not hitting the same. I had a double Freddie burger with fries and it was decent but the bottom bread was soaked with grease from burger….my folks got the grilled cheeseburger and she asked for no tomato spread but they put it on there and she wasn’t a fan of it.
I would give it a 6/7 out of 10.
The workers were nice and moved fast.
I wouldn’t say don’t eat it but I will say if you want a GOOD burger just make sure they don’t have too much grease on the bun

Lucas, the associate working the drive-thru, was an absolute gem—patient, kind, and full of grace under pressure. Between my kids eagerly calling out their sundae requests and my partner juggling the “real” food order, it was a lively scene to say the least. Lucas didn’t miss a beat and made us feel welcomed and unrushed.
This was our first time visiting Freddy’s, and let me tell you, the food far exceeded anything we expected from a fast-food joint. We originally planned to eat while driving, but after one bite, we knew we had to pull over and give this meal the attention it deserved. The flavors were bold and balanced, and everything was served hot, fresh, and perfectly prepared.
We tried the mushroom steak burger and crispy chicken deluxe, and both were packed with flavor and cooked just right. The kids loved their meals—one chose the hotdog, another got the chicken tenders, and the third had the burger. Everyone had smiles on their faces and full bellies by the end.
Of course, no trip to Freddy’s is complete without dessert, and the sundaes were a hit across the board. The worm sundae brought big smiles and laughter, and the Oreo cookies and vanilla milkshake were rich, creamy, and totally addictive. The treats made the perfect ending to a standout experience.
All in all, Freddy’s made a spectacular first impression. Great burgers, fries, cheese curds , ice cream and more! We decided on something easy and that would satisfy everyone. We ordered one chophouse burger that has mushrooms and A1 sauce with a premium side order of chili fries. We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, one with a premium side of cheese curds and one with just fries. We also ordered a California double cheeseburger with a premium side of onion rings as well as a 5 piece chicken strip kids meal. The burgers were very good and perfectly done, each had double patties with fresh toppings. The french fries are shoestring style and perfectly cooked. The chili cheese fries are the same fries with a good chili and nacho cheese. The cheese curds are very good and taste exactly like they should and you get a large serving of them. The burgers can be a bit messy but I’m ok with that because they do taste so good! The average price was $10 per meal which is not bad given the area and what other burger places are charging just for the burger alone! We would definitely come back here and eat again! The service is very good, super friendly and very fast.

This place gives the Sense that it’s presentation and flavor of the burgers have not changed much for years maybe even decades. Authentic is what I’m trying to say for an American burger restaurant. Taste far better than shake shack. Prices are fair , seating is good , service pace is fair as food is made to order. Came back a year later from out of town still great
