The resting place may look small, but it holds true Indian treasures . I was honestly shocked (in the best way!) to see such a wide variety of Indian curries, and they even let you taste before you order! It felt just like homemade food from back in India .
If you’re nearby, do visit this warm and welcoming spot. Good luck to the amazing people behind it

Excellent legit Indian food in a gas station. Chai, mango lassi, and samosas all hit with the flavors of Indian food right from India.
Next time I’m driving 80 I’ll for sure make a point to stop and eat lunch here.

This is my second visit of the year. I think they have really improved on the cleanliness….still some ways to go but I think I can now recommend people to sit and eat here. Food is even better than before. Service also seems a bit quicker. For anyone looking for authentic Punjabi food, this is the place to come. The food doesn’t have a lot (or any) of cream and sugar and tomatoes, as should be the case with Punjabi cooking. The chai is amazing! Aaloo parathas are to die for. Rotis taste just like they should. lf you are driving past here on 80, or around State College and want to try Punjabi/Indian food, definitely consider them. It wouldn’t be a fine dining experience but still worth it. Or you can get a takeout. Call 30 min before you reach here and food would be ready to takeout.

Unexpected food from a gas station, lol. The smell of spices is what lured me to the food counter, food was good. If I’m ever in the area I’d stop again.

Discovered this when we had to change our route south to bypass winter storm warnings near Erie, PA. Food was good enough I’d consider rerouting this way to eat here in good weather!
One order of Chicken Biryani could have fed us both. Had enough with that and an order of Indian Noodles that there were still leftovers after breakfast next morning. Tasty, should have expected spice to build overnight, so remove leftover hot peppers and make sure your hotel has a fridge!
Takes 10 extra minutes for them to make food fresh, so bypass the burger things and stop here.

A Hidden Gem in the Most Unexpected Place!
We stumbled upon this Indian restaurant tucked inside a gas station in Pennsylvania, and honestly—what a pleasant surprise!
We had chaat and paratha which was perfectly stuffed, and served with pickles, butter and curd just like back home. You can taste the real Indian flavors—nothing watered down or overly adapted for Western palates.
The staff was friendly, service was quick. Definitely one of those under-the-radar spots you wouldn’t expect but will keep coming back to.
If you’re anywhere near the area, make the detour—it’s so worth it.
