The food is amazing and the portions are more than one person can eat..the cafeteria style selections are plentiful…I purchased a to go platter w/ rice and beans, string beans, pork ribs and the container barely closed… for $12.95. That platter can easily feed 3 people… and the FLAVOR was to die for…. they didn’t miss on the flavor… I will definitely go back to this place again and again when I visit Tampa again…. Food is so good I recommended it to my son 4 states over… where Latin Food is plentiful…. I’m telling you someone’s grandma is hiding in that kitchen…..

This place sucks ! Placed a pick up order, never notified when it was ready. Called multiple times, no answer. I finally decided to walk in, they don’t even acknowledge me. I walk up to the register & my food is just sitting there. I asked why they didnt notify me when it was ready or at least pick up the phone, all the ladies there just gave me rude looks & answers. Got home (I live 0.6 miles away) & all of my food was cold as ice. Asked them not to put specific things in our sandwiches. They made whatever they wanted to make. HORRIBLE!

We stopped here on our way home and absolutely will be back! We only wish there was a place this good closer to because we would be here all the time. The kids even loved it so much they ate every last bit! Definitely would recommend, love the atmosphere as well and everyone was so nice and helpful.

Driver of there van will just pull out in front of you an expect you to SLAM on brakes or GO AROUND for his entitled self. IF YOU GO AROUND HE WILL RIDE YOUR BUTT AND HONK AT YOU THINKING YOU ARE IN THE WRONG. I tried to call to let them know how bad of a driver they have and no one ever answers the phone after three times. i would not support this company if that is who they hire. He’s smart enough to drive like that in a work van… imagine what else he will do outside of a uniform… yikes.

I ordered & paid online for pickup at 4:00 pm. Got there and they said they didn’t have my order at all. She finally found it. I told from the start that I’m picking up 2 Large Cold Cubans. Specified on my order! But I got 2 large pressed with no pickles or banana peppers as specified!! Not that I won’t eat it that way, but I want what I want! Why specify what I want if they are only gonna make them the way they want to!!!

Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance of this spot.My husband and I did a quick stop for a snack. As soon as we opened the door, the smell and look of the food bar was pristine and inviting. Everything looked well placed, organized and fresh. We purchased a few empanadas, flat deep fried plantain, and chicharron (deep fried pork bites) I didn’t take any pics this time, this place has tasty fresh food!

Food here is okay, nothing exiting not Puerto Rican style at all as indicated. Bland cuban food at best. Sandwiches are good and big. If you want more for your money then this is the place to go. The sandwiches are huge compared to any other sandwich in TAMPA. The large are around $9 and 2 can eat and be satisfied .
