My friend and I walked in this Waffle House and immediately noticed food all on the floor at every booth and counter seats, none of the half eaten dishes had been removed/cleared from the counter and every seat had used dishes there so we couldn’t sit at the counter. No one acknowledged or greeted us so we had to ask if we could just sit anywhere. As we made our way over to the booth to sit there was soooooo much food on the floor and in the seat and then I glanced into the kitchen and it was beyond awful the amount of food AND trash on the floor, now I frequent Waffle Houses very frequently and understand that a certain amount of food on the kitchen floor is expected but this was excessive. After that we decided not to eat at this location and turned to leave and we were finally acknowledged by 2 of the young females but not to offer assistance but to say bye bye and see you later… WOW. I’m sure the owner would not approve of losing paid customers because of some things that could have been prevented and/or corrected, I mean a simple greeting could have sent this review in a different tone and direction. I would encourage the owner of this location to implement pop up visits every so often or have someone they know to do it.

WAFFLE HOUSE has a really good Grilled Cheese and Hash Browns. I Enjoyed every bite. The Hash Browns were especially Crispy and Delicious . My server , CODY , was excellent and tried really hard to make my visit very enjoyable , even I’m as he was doing his side work , getting ready for shift change . He saw to my every need. Thanks for the Hard Work ! And THANKS AGAIN !

Waffle House is an American staple like apple pie. I love their waffles cooked with pecans in the batter. This Waffle House tends to overcook the waffles and it dries them out. Usually, I tell them to cook it lightly but I forgot. It was dry and no amount of butter or syrup made it taste any better.

A white lady named Karen insulted my best friend by saying “oh she must be really hungry!” with a face and she really was gonna get a tip but never mind that also from the moment that we came in she had a bad attitude and we still have not have a refill our throats are dry as hell!!!! Cold toast, and burnt bacon does not help you want to come back. They told me my first waffle was burnt so they were fixing me another one. Well little did I know the second one was burnt crispy on the bottom. Don’t know if it was intentionally hidden or not. The third waffle leads me to believe they need new irons. Crunchy on one side and almost uncooked on the other. So,maybe this issue just started? My husband asked for limp bacon and got burnt bacon. Two stars because the staff was very nice, but they just can’t cook. Don’t know who checks reviews of Waffle Houses but this one near the mall in Greenwood didn’t cut it with me.

The staff argued about who would wait on us, then we were told it would be a half hour before they could make iced tea! Then they argued about how to make tea with the female employee yelling at the dude! Seemed the cook was only one wanting to work… then they shut the place down! Literally after us and one other guy they refused to serve anyone else saying they shut the grill down!
