Great Mexican restaurant in small town Lakeview. The service is quick and the foot is tasty. The atmosphere is a little more rustic than I wanted but the food and service make up for it.

Food was okay, we got enchiladas. The salsa is pretty plain, it doesn’t have much flavor. The enchiladas were generic tasting, not bad, not great.

I had a taco salad, my friend a raco plate. The shell for the taco salad was cold. There was so much grease in the bottom that the bottom of the shell deterred.
My friends tacos were mush, he tried eating them with a fork. No luck, he said the rice and beans tasted off.
The salsa the bring out tasted like tapato hot sauce with tomatoes and onions mixed in.
The ice tea tasted like it was several days old.
The wait staff while friendly are inattentive.
Basically I don’t know how they been getting 4+ star ratings. Must be friends or employees.

People that dont like this place obviously eat at Taco Bell. The best authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The tortilla soup and fajitas were phenomenal! Homemade chips salsa and guac!!!

Hey, many of these reviews are old. I stopped in on a Friday evening while riding my Harley through here.
The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the carne asada plate. The portion was generous, and the flavors were better than the ratings indicated.
Although the tortillas weren’t house made, the salsa had good spice, and I loved the grilled jalapeño that accompanied my order.
Plenty of locals walked through the doors, and the staff embraced them. It’s obvious this is a go-to spot for the farmers and ranchers who inhabit the area.
Don’t be influenced by a 3.8 rating. It’s not a 5 star, but it’s well worth supporting their efforts.
