Fabulous food.
Fell in Love with Chuy’s while living in Austin during the 90’s.
My favorite item has always been the Chile Relleno it went missing along with lots of favorites because of Covid in 2020.
I am so excited to say….IT’S BACK.
Today had the new favorite Relleno and enchilada. Wait staff indicated it has been back about 3-4 months. So cute he never realized it use to be the staple.

I visited Chuy’s several weeks ago with business dinner. The doctors office hosted a meal in the party room. They choose fajitas with all the trimmings absolutely delicious. I made a 2nd trip last week and ordered the enchilada platter. It was delucious 3 types of enchilalads, beans and rice and taco with chips and queso. It was absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The chips are milled very fine. Many resaurants have very thick chips which are not as tasty. I ate myself silly eating the salsa and the jalapeno ranch dip. Sèrvuce was spot on. I am current unemployed so I appreciated the large value of food and the small price tag. It was the chips and salsa that really brought it home for me. Orders come with complimentary Chips, Salsa Fresca and Creamy Jalapeño. The diner’s right in front of me took home bags of chips with the creamy jalapeno dip and so I asked my server. And he gave me a bag of chips which were divine and then too little cups of the creamy jalapeno dip and.
The softwthe salsa Fresca, which was also divine.charro beans do not contain lard; they are 100% vegan, making them suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets. The beans are cooked with water and salt and are prepared without lard or chicken stock, unlike the practices of many other Mexican restaurants.

Love the atmosphere and the food was great. Love the white jalapeno salsa thing they give you with the chips. Margarita could’ve been a little bigger for what I spent, but it was good.

Had meal by myself today, Wednesday at 315pm. The chips were so stale. Had to been yesterday’s leftovers.
Ordered the steak fajitas which was ok but the order barely had any green peppers, was mostly onions. The steak wasn’t very tender and not very flavorful. The tortillas were dried out and stale. The refried beans and rice was ok. Overall the meal was very disappointing. There was only several customers dining there and I certainly understand why it was empty after I left. They server was polite and was attentive.
I’ll never go back there again!

Food was great. Service was great. Glad the food hasn’t changed much since the buyout. I have been back a dozen times since my last review, everything is still amazing, both bartenders have met have been great, polite, and on point, the food is still great and taste the same every time. The consistency is great, the drinks are awesome as well, blackberry margaritas are can’t beat the jalapeño ranch dip, im from Austin Texas (where Chuys began) and everything taste just same as home. Manager greeted us a few times on different visits and asked how everything was, awesome place, keep up the good work y’all. Wish I lived closer I would spend a lot more time at the bar.

I ordered the shrimp grilled tacos that came with rice and beans last Friday night ,been having diarrhea the past three days in a row since eating that, the next morning diarrhea, the whole day diarrhea, the whole next same, can’t hold any food down. Had a relative order the same thing not grilled her was baked and she was fine no issues just me. Atmosphere and service was great just personally caused me diarrhea since that’s the main food I ate that day. Could be sometime else, but my gut is telling me it was from here.

Love this flavorful fun Tex-med restaurant! I get the chicka boom enchiladas * spicy!*and both kinds of rice. Service is fast and friendly lots of choices and a variety of drink options.

I went and had an ok experience. The deluxe chicken enchiladas I got were unfortunately not good. The chicken was dry but somehow smelled raw which I still don’t understand why. The way they arranged the tables for our party made it difficult to use 3 of the chairs and made it feel very crowded. The service was very good though and I know everyone else at my table liked their food so maybe I just got the one dud meal. I probably could have said something immediately and gotten it replaced but I didn’t do that, so that part was on me. I’ve been to the Tulsa hills location and got better quality food and experience. I don’t think I would chose this location again.
