Came to this restaurant for the first time. My family always wanted to try this place. Thanks to molly, the waitress, who served us gave us a great experience. She was very polite, Very helpful , and gave afree sample of their dip with chips. Definitely returning to eat at this place. Thank you molly for a great experience and great food. ★★★★

Sept 25?,2025 at 12:30 pm. @ 151 and 410 San Antonio,Texas order a taco salad and steak burritos. Pulled up message the restaurant I was outside. No one came out . After 5 minutes of waiting. I went inside. All the servers were standing by the cook area on their phone and just talking. I had to pick up my order myself inside the restaurant. I checked on my food before I left. My taco salad was terrible no tomatoes, no chip strips, and chicken was dry. The manager Vince re-made a he tacos salad. it looked the same. The chicken was very dry and lettuce was brown. He forgot the tomatoes again. He went and put some in a plastic bowl. Customer service was terrible the food was terrible. I will not go back. I didn’t think it was very hard to make a taco salad.

Chuy’s Tex-Mex, and my experience was a mixed bag. While some dishes hit the spot, others missed the mark. The menu’s hit-and-miss nature made it clear that some items are must-tries, while others might be best avoided.
Prices at Chuy’s are affordable. Overall, I’d say Chuy’s is “not bad at all.

Had dinner this evening for a birthday. Dinner was good and served quickly. Item requested minus cheese (alergy) was returned with cheese “scraped off”, turned over and sauce covering it. Bad business. Waiter Troy was exceptional. Professional, friendly and attentive. He did everything to ensure our dinner was complete.

My husband and I have loved going to chuys for years now. Today I felt I should give a review because Marissa provided such excellent services. Dining with a toddler is never easy and she went above and beyond to help make our meal enjoyable. She gave our little one a couple stickers and an ice pop to help keep him entertained. I hope the next time we go back, she’s our waitress. She had such a positive impact on our day!

My dad and I went there this past Saturday at around 4pm. There weren’t many people dining. First, we were sat in a booth (preferred) but we asked to move due to the SPOTLIGHT bulb that made it difficult to see across the table. We were moved to a window table where it was FREEZING, but we were there and already moved once. We ordered queso to start. My dad ordered the shredded chicken taco plate and I ordered the beef tacos al carbon plate. My dad mentioned the tortillas were flour dense and didn’t hold the filling well… I couldn’t yet relate because I was still waiting for my food. Dad finished his meal and we got some extra chips for the dips. The waitress removed his plate and apologized again for my food still being delayed. Just as I was telling my dad that I’ve eaten so much chips and dip (and he was already through with his meal) I was just going to cancel my meal order…. my meal arrived. I ate one taco mostly because I was already full but I discovered what he was saying about the tortillas. The flour tortilla broke from the filling and lead to my decision to just stop trying.
What bothers me the most is that there was no offer for some kind of reduction of the bill… maybe comp the queso? They went ahead and charged us full price knowing well this was not a good experience. I WILL NEVER go back!

I ordered to go tonight and was surprised by the portion of the food. The salsa was fresh, quesadillas were good and beans and rice were seasoned. My only complaint is that large package with food lacked 2 milks. Im disappointed that I have to review and confirm my order before leaving as oppose to getting my order correct.

The dining experience was average overall. The cake stood out as particularly delightful, offering a satisfying finish to the meal. However, the service left something to be desired, as we experienced delays in receiving additional items with our order. Additionally, we encountered the disappointment of discovering expired ketchup packets during our meal.
