We are visiting from NJ and we eat a Plant based (vegan) diet. There were plenty of options and the food was DELICIOUS and the service was quick. Our waiter Andy was probably the one of the best waiter we have ever had. He made sure we understood the menu and even made suggestions. I couldn’t help to notice that all of the wait staff seemed to be the same with other customers. Very impressive.

A classic American diner with a twist. The vibes are immaculate- cool decor, jukeboxes and cozy booths. The food is not like the average diner, it’s all organic, high quality ingredients. My fav is the pickle brined chicken sandwich. The milkshakes are great too. And it’s not too pricey. They also have a good variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes! I’d recommend any tourists coming to VA to try this place for a fun diner experience!

We had such a great experience at Silver Diner. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. I love that they have a mix of healthier options along with classic comfort favorites, so everyone at the table can find something they’re excited about.
The service was friendly and attentive, and our food came out quickly and exactly how we ordered it. It just felt easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

I had a great experience at Silver Diner thanks to Christopher. He was welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was just right the entire time. He was knowledgeable about the menu, quick to help with anything we needed, and had a great attitude that made the visit even better. The food and service were both excellent, and Christopher really went above and beyond. Silver Diner is lucky to have him. Highly recommend!

I live in a California and every time in fly in to visit family I head straight for this Silver Diner before I do anything else. Recently I’ve gotten Gladys as a server and I wish could take her energy, bottle it, and give it to the rest of humanity to make it kinder, more fun, entertaining, and generally better as a species. She’s a gem and makes an already fantastic experience even better, if that is possible.

To the manager: Blanca, you told me i have to be in uniform to get military/ federal discount and to the management of silver diner over all, this is what i got in return after asking for a discount. Ice-cream all over the place in a box with a broken brownie thats so hard to even eat. No syrups no nothing with it at all whatsoever. As well, was given a freaking knife and a fork to eat ice cream with salt and pepper ?????

The place itself is clean. The food was almost inedible and service was incredibly slow. Our server could not find extra sides for us to order an additional side. This was after we witnessed a manager berating her for literally no reason. She was very clearly new and was given zero help or training. I feel very bad for her as she was very kind.
I ordered the pickle fried chicken sandwich. Coleslaw was bitter and the chicken was so tough it was almost inedible. My partner had a cheeseburger, which was about the size of a slider. We both left still hungry and incredible frustrated. The only reason we didn’t go anywhere else was we had already ordered.

Had a great dinner here with my family from out of town 10/10. Service was A1 especially with our server, Omar real attentive and made sure we were well taken care. 100% coming back in the future.

Had a great breakfast with my wife after a few days of camping.
It felt like we were rushed out by the floor manager bcuz I noticed she looked at our server and then he came over and gave us our check without asking us if we wanted anything else. I wanted more coffee but our server was gone and my wife just said forget it we will find coffee elsewhere.
