Austin’s Cattle Company in Valdosta is always a fantastic experience! The steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly as ordered — absolutely delicious. The salad bar is fresh and well stocked, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive.
They rebuilt new restaurant at same location.. plenty of room . Same great food!

I stopped here on my way from Valdosta to Tallahassee and I’m really glad I did. The place has an authentic old-school design with a warm, rustic atmosphere, and there’s plenty of free parking outside.
The hostess greeted me with a smile and seated me right away. The restaurant is large with multiple sections that feel almost like a cozy maze. I ordered the French onion soup and a steak — both were excellent. The soup was rich and cheesy, and the steak was cooked perfectly with great flavor.
Service was polite, friendly, and fast.
Great spot for a solid meal on the road. Highly recommended! ✨

The food presentation was excellent, as usual. This local steakhouse is a favorite of mine that I have frequented for quite some time. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. I highly recommend trying the 24oz T-Bone steak for those with a hearty appetite. I will certainly return.

Overall decent place to go grab some food, are order specifically was not made correct. Appetizer was good ordered the Gator tail and the sauce was awesome jalapeno pepper honey! Now when it came to our main course everything fell short. My wife ordered the 7 oz filet medium and it came very well done and dry. I ordered the prime ribe medium rare and came out like they didn’t even cook it I’ve had medium rare a ton of times with prime rib but never had to deal with this level of raw the server was nice asked if we wanted a refund but I said it’s fine I just don’t think we will come back again.

Austin’s Cattle Company in Valdosta provided an excellent dining experience. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor. The coconut shrimp was well prepared, and the French onion soup was exceptional, rich and satisfying. The service was attentive and professional, which added to the overall experience.

I’ve been to Austin’s plenty times and the food and service was always A1 BUT since they’ve remodeled the restaurant, the food is NASTY! My server Kate was awesome! Shout out to Kate but the cook couldn’t get my steak right. I asked for well done TWICE and it came back rare BOTH times. The manager was a sweetheart and she did give me a meal free and said her apologies. However, the meal that was given was still nasty but at least management did their job. Austins please retrain the cook!!

Most excellent dinner, service and restaurant. Our waitress was amazing my steak I got the Tbone was juicy seasoned and cooled to perfection. I also got the Caesar salad and loaded baked potato which was buttery and tender. My husband got the New York strip which was also super tender he said the fries weren’t as fresh as he would have liked but all in all so good. Also they need to update the menu prices as they arent what you see online.

The food was very good. We had Gator Tail for an appetizer. Their loaf of bread they bring you is amazing! It’s pretty big, soft and warm, yummy! The steaks are a little too heavily seasoned for us but cooked to perfection. Their baked potatoes are good as well but too heavily salted. We should’ve asked about their salt and seasoning, our bad The service was great, we had a very nice young lady. We had to wait a little while to be seated, they were very busy. We waited about 30-40 minutes even though we were told 15. It was probably due to being the day before Father’s Day. We also had to wait to get silverware. The atmosphere was nice, not too loud. The decor is pretty cool. I would recommend this restaurant if your in the area!

Great place!!All New!! Plenty of room.. plenty of tables or booths. Great atmosphere and great people.. The place was busy and we still had great service food came out very quick… just had time to get one cold beer down before dinner!!
