I was visiting from London and happened upon this place having been to the nearby Kerry park for some sightseeing.

Nikki delivered an efficient and attentive service, the portion size of the food was big (but good!), coffee was fresh and tasty. Plenty of condiments on the table too.

I highly recommend getting the cinnamon roll with the breakfast too. Looks big but I promise it’s so fluffy and fresh!

This was an authentic American experience – one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in the USA so far!

Even on Valentine’s Day the wait wasn’t terrible. Either way it was WORTH IT!!! Our server Kenny was wonderful, service was incredibly quick. And the food was spot on, good portions, delicious flavors, and very attentive staff. A super warm and cozy environment, could have stayed there all day. Will be going back soon!

Been coming here for years now and the food is absolutely delicious. There are a ton of options but their French toast and egg dishes are just to die for.

The service is warm especially Kenny. We always have amazing time here

This is also a kid friendly place with lots of food options and some coloring activities to keep your kiddos busy.

We visited 5 Spot Café on November 21, 2025, around 11 AM, and the experience ended up being a mix of great food and disappointing service. The place itself is lovely, very clean, bright, and welcoming, with that classic Queen Anne charm. It was also quite busy, which shows how popular it is.
We ordered a Build Your Own Omelette, Avocado Toast and Farmhouse Scramble and we also ordered a coffee. The food itself was very good fresh, well seasoned, and nicely presented. Honestly, the kitchen did a great job.

Where things fell apart was the service. For a place this busy, I expected a certain level of attentiveness, but our server seemed checked out from the moment we sat down. Zero attention, no real interaction, and extremely short responses. At one point, we were literally mid-order when one of us was still deciding, and the server simply walked away abruptly without saying anything. It felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially during a brunch rush when clear communication matters.

Despite the great food and clean environment, the service brought the overall experience down.

Delmer was amazing !! Great service and made our morning. The food was good and a homey local vibe with this place. We had a group of 5 and were sat right away although it was very busy. We ordered the spicy bloody marys, french toast chicken sandwich, 5 spot breakfast meal, and sonoran scrambled! All great and speedy with HUGE portions.

In town for the weekend and found this amazing spot. I ordered the chilaquiles special with medium rare steak and sunnyside up eggs. The steak was cooked to perfection!! All the flavours of my dish were fantastic. My partner got the chicken fried steak with hash browns and overeasy eggs which were also delicious. The art was beautiful and I love how each booth had their own coat rack! The best part of this experience was our server, Delmer. He was out of this world with service! Fast, precise, and top notch. I can see why this diner has won the past three years. Thank you so much for the amazing time!

We were sat almost immediately on a late Sunday morning for brunch. Kenny was our server and was very attentive. The California Benedict was great! Would also recommend the mimosa and cold brew.

I’m sorry, I really am. I wanted to like the 3 year in a row best in the PNW award winning restaurant but it was just…. Not great. Not bad but I can’t recommend it.

I got the French toast chicken sandwich and I thought I’d be able to eat it with my hands like a chicken n waffle but the French toast wasn’t strong enough to hold the chicken so it defeats the purpose of it being a sandwich. The potatoes weren’t very flavorful. As a person who has tried many spices throughout my life I would recommend they try using any of them. The best part of it was fruit. Now the food wasn’t horrible but it definitely wasn’t as flavorful or good as I hoped.

My friend who is Mexican for the chorizo scramble and was let down as well. They gave the place overall a 4 out of 10, if you could see their face they didn’t have anything they liked about the meal. The chorizo lacked flavor. The best part overall was the cinnamon roll and it wasn’t great.

Overall I think it’s a difference in culture, if you’re from a culture that doesn’t use spices you’d love this place! If your culture uses lots of spices you won’t. I know it’s a breakfast place but still, I wasn’t expecting a smorgasbord of flavors but I still wanted some.

Overall a 3, the service and atmosphere are great! The food mid

Really enjoyed our visit to 5 Spot. The food was solid, flavorful, and came out quickly, and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. It’s a great neighborhood spot that feels comfortable and easy, whether you’re stopping by for breakfast or a casual meal. Also wanted to thank Kenny for the great service, friendly and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being over the top. Appreciate it and will definitely be back!
