I stopped about 3:15 yesterday 3/2/26 I ordered 1 sandwich (oven roasted Turkey). Lettuce,tomatoes green perrer and extra black olives. I noticed a funky smell in the vehicle for the 15 min to Deadwood. Something is very rotten on this sandwich. Idk if its the meat or lettuce. This is the 3rd time in the last year this store has had questionable looking lettuce. I went ahead with the lettuce because it looked edible still. Not as bad as last time,I thought anyway! I had about 1/4 of my sandwich. I tasted something almost like cleaner or soap. I threw the rest of that half on table. The other half I smelt all the way home even though it was in the back seat. There is a phone number where you can only leave messages. I left 2 and no one has bothered to call. I think that is horrible customer service! All I want is a refund! If I get ill I have the other half in my garage frig so someone can see and smell the stench! I will not eat there again! I believe if you are going to run a sandwich shop you need to be not serving any questionable toppings! Like I said this is the 3rd time the lettuce has looked like it should be in the garbage! Lesson learned! There are plenty of other places to grab food. Dont get sick!….SK 3/3/26

I’m usually one to give benefit of the doubt and don’t leave reviews often but this has to be said. I’m extremely disappointed with our experience at the local Subway tonight. We arrived just a few minutes after 5:00 PM, and there were five people ahead of us in line. I was there with a friend, and between the two of us we had three kids with us- so already not the easiest situation to manage while waiting.
At that time, there was only one employee working. Around 5:25 PM, a second employee came in. Instead of immediately helping the growing line of customers, he completed an online order and then began wiping down tables and sweeping the floor. While making the online order, he and the other employee were casually standing there making small talk about the new manager instead of moving with any sense of urgency.
We waited in line for 45 minutes, which is completely unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant with only five people ahead of us. I would’ve left, but unfortunately, I had allowed my children to open their chips after waiting the first 20 minutes.
To top it off, I ordered my son a pizza sub. The employee put sauce and cheese on the bread, asked what else I wanted, and when I said pepperoni (which is a standard ingredient on a pizza sub), he told me they were out of pepperoni. That should have been communicated upfront.
The lack of urgency, poor staffing management, and running out of basic ingredients made this a very frustrating experience. I hope management addresses these issues because this was not acceptable service.

Im not one to leave reviews but this one upset me. Made a online order. Walked into the employee on a personal call where he barely acknowledged me, just enough just to tell me he was out of all bread, except for wheat, had no cheese except for 1 kind , and no lettuce. Literally everything my sandwich was. Didn’t offer a solution, just barely wrapped the sandwich, the end sticking out dropping toppings everywhere and said sorry, take care.

Second time in a month they are out of bread and cheese. When I got there they were taking the garbage out the front door. Very not OK that does not follow any type if rule. Had ordered on the app to only find out they didnt start the order and had none of the food i ordered. This place needs an overhaul they need to figure out how to run a restaurant. It’s a wonder how they stay in business if they never have enough food. Also employees wearing headphones is very tacky.

Ordered 2 sandwiches, a wrap, and a footlong cookie online. Came in when it said to and they didn’t even start the order and were just standing around. When they did, they didn’t toast one of the sandwiches that was supposed to be. They didn’t cut the other sandwich and completely forgot the footlong cookie. Was not a good experience. Very disappointed

I ordered a protein bowl online. I walked from a nearby hotel, and it was ready when I arrived. The bowl was made exactly as I ordered it, and I was satisfied with the quality and flavor. The sandwich makers were super helpful and efficient. It seems to be a newer Subway or very recently remodeled.

Great subs! Ours were made perfectly and very good tasting. The guy who made ours is a great employee who was friendly and sociable. He did a terrific job with my sub as I added red wine vinegar & olive oil to mine and tasted so good. He added a perfect blend of the two. Nice clean place. I would eat at this place again.

I ordered online and waiting patiently for my food was nice and used my ps and Qs but I got home to get my food and my boyfriend also got a sub and both meats were cold all the way thru and barely toasted I have chicken bacon ranch and I asked for it toasted my boyfriend got a steak egg and cheese and his egg and steak were very cold and his wasn’t toasted either. Very disappointed and I love my subway but this honestly makes me not want it to go back. Makes me very sad.the cheese isn’t even melted at all.

We’re mid-rally and every service worker in town is exhausted right now, you can see it in their faces…. but Brayden and the guy with long hair (I didn’t get his name) were super friendly and doing a great job! The food is always the same all over the country, but their amazing attitudes made the trip to Sturgis Subway a total relief from the overpriced (& terrible) food and the burnt out service workers all over town. Bravo to those two dudes for bringing the good vibes! Give them a rally bonus!
