The food was well portioned. I believe it was a tad bland for my liking. But it was still good nonetheless. The male staff member was friendly and fast. I believe better lighting and a brighter sign may attract more passing by customers. I had no idea this place even existed and I drive by often.

Bought the 1/2 Rotisserie chicken with gandule rice. Amazing! Been searching for years for a place that makes gandule rice. This place is legit. Sadly, no seating just takeout. I instantly finished my plate in the car. Passion fruit drink is yummy too. Plate comes with a bowl of bean and potato soup. The food was so good I had to buy some gandule rice and soup to go. I’ll definitely be back when I’m visiting this area.

El Punto Boricua the food was truly delicious. I had the pleasure of trying their roast pork with yellow rice and gandules, and my husband enjoyed the 1/2 rotisserie chicken, both of us were thoroughly satisfied. For those who appreciate Puerto Rican cuisine, I recommend giving them a try. It’s among the best I’ve had in a alongtime.

I haven’t tried any of their actual food yet, my coworker stopped in to pick up dinner and the food he ordered looked and smelled fantastic and he did say he really enjoyed it. I just got dessert cause I had food back at my hotel room. I got a slice of cheesecake expecting it to probably just be something frozen. This was some of the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. They had a few different topping choices. I picked the passionfruit and it was delicious actually had fresh chunks of fruit in it.

Absolutely a must try , the lemonade is very sweet just a heads up but the overall good to price ratio amazing . Cooked wonderfully, the star of the show was the pastelitos the chicken and beef was well seasoned, flavorful , authentic and everything was wrapped with care. I shall return here , come check this spot out . I think for some it could be a tad salty but the sweet plantains and drink balances it all out . Dem beans I forgot to take a picture of were also made lovely . Well seasoned as well . If you got this far into the review what are you waiting for , order up.

First time to this Authentic Puertorican Restaurant! Didn’t know there was one so close to us. Always have to drive to the West Side of Buffalo to get some Puertorican food. Drove over after work and the place smelled GREAT!!! Just like Moms when we knew she was cooking up something good! Ordering was straight forward and was out of there in less than 15 minutes! (Not a complaint) Wish it was a 5 minute wait but we get what we get!! I will definitely be coming back and telling everyone I run into that asks what’s around for a good quick bite to go here. Gracias la comida estaba cabroooo…. Los veo la proxima ves!!!!

If you are looking for authentic puerto rican food.You have come to the right place with El Punto Boricua. I’ve been here quite a few times now.And every single time the food is perfect , the yellow rice is great, you are a fan of the Pinto bean sauce that goes with the yellow rice.I would ten out of ten recommend! The half chicken or quarter chicken is amazing.Nice, moist, perfect skin, perfectly seasoned.And the pastalellos are absolutely fantastic. The deserts, in the case on the counter are to die for & anything else I have tried has been spot on as well! And if you’re not sure what the things on the menu are , the staff does a great job explaining all of the menu items , and what is inside of them. I’ve been here.
