Inaugurated in April 2003 in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Boteco do Manolo carries the history in its name, Manuel Barcia Riveiro, a Spanish immigrant who arrived in Brazil in the 50s, is the inspiring character of this history. A cheerful and obstinate man, “Manolo” started his family’s successful trajectory in the restaurant business, where he himself started out as a waiter. The world has turned and today this style of this character is stamped in our restaurants in the care in the kitchen and in our service.
Modern family restaurant for Brazilian meat, fish & vegetable dishes with live music.

This is an amazing authentic Brazilian restaurant.
All the crew are amazing, since the beginning with the reception welcoming the guests.
All the waiters and staff are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about all menu choices. A big thanks for Cris for the hospitality and customer service.
The food is another extraordinary experience with a surprising and delicious flavour.
The dishes are very well served with big portions.
I really enjoyed and recommend this place.
– Family-size Picanha with side dishes
– Caipirinha
✨Atmosphere:
So lively and joyful. Families were celebrating birthdays, there was live music, and the whole place felt warm.
Service:
The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly; it genuinely felt like chatting with friends. I guess it’s the Brazilian warmth
⭐Overall: 5/5
Also, try the Risotto with Heart of Palms. The best!!
Me senti no Brasil!!! Parabéns!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
2 people. Great steak and drinks. A half portion is perfect for two people. A full portion is good for four people. For two people to eat fantastically is around $100 before tip.
Regarding the main course, we followed the waitress’s recommendation and ordered a filet mignon dish with parmesan cheese rice. However, in our opinion, it wasn’t that good. The rice had too much white sauce and cheese, which was too strong, and I believe the meat wasn’t filet mignon. It also lacked the taste of madeira sauce. Next time, we’ll go for a more traditional dish.
We think it would be a good idea for them to offer individual dish options on the dinner menu as well.
If you are in the mood for Brazilian food, this is the place! So much food and it tastes so good. Last time we had the Costela and it was delicious. Service is great as always!
