The mushroom soup was excellent, the bread was good also. The steak was overcooked medium versus the medium rare I asked for, they offered to replace it but did not want to wait for it. All the steaks are served without aus sauce. The steak seasoning is sub par.

The bartender was nice. That area while we waited for a table was good. We got our table after about 40 min wait and our waitress wasn’t very nice. My food was basic fettuccine with chicken but not worth the price they charged. My boyfriend’s French dip he didn’t even eat it cuz he said meat tasted rancid. My soup was good after they brought me a new one cuz my first spoon had old crusted food on it. And my boyfriend’s glass from his drink he had wasn’t clean. There was like crusted tomato juice or something in it. So we will not be going back!

It had been a couple of years since my last visit to Sebastian’s, and back then the experience was excellent. The steaks were perfectly prepared, the drinks were great, and I walked away without a single complaint. Unfortunately, our recent Thursday night visit felt like a completely different restaurant.

The atmosphere has shifted from an upscale steakhouse to more of a low‑end, Wisconsin‑style supper club. The service felt rushed from the moment we sat down. Even the drinks, which used to be a highlight, were disappointing. They were running a double‑bubble special, and the drinks tasted exactly like that—weak, inexpensive, and lacking any real flavor. Ironically, they ended up being the best part of the meal.

My wife ordered the shrimp, and I went with the coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was a major letdown. The coating was clearly over‑fried—dark brown to nearly black—and had no flavor at all. The dipping sauce didn’t help; we couldn’t even identify what it was supposed to be, and it certainly didn’t taste good. The only thing remotely enjoyable was the baked potato with their sour cream, which had a nice touch of chives and lemon.

The next day, I met up with one of my cousins, and we ended up talking about Sebastian’s. Before I even mentioned our experience, she asked if I felt the place had changed over the years. After I told her what happened, she immediately confirmed she’d noticed the same thing—that the quality has drastically gone downhill.

Overall, the experience was a far cry from what Sebastian’s used to be. It’s disappointing to see such a noticeable decline in quality across the board.
How highly recommend going somewhere else.

I wish we could give less than one star; we arrived at 6:15pm and were seated by 7pm; we immediately placed our order for dinner, an HOUR and a HALF later (after waiting patiently for our dinner) we were told we told they ran out of food. Our waitress was extremely rude and unprofessional, she obviously forgot to place out food order and then decided to blame us instead. This used to be a really nice supper club for Fond du Lac, you can definitely tell it’s on its decline with very unprofessional , young and rude staff. We will never be back. Please visit other well kept and well staffed supper clubs in the area.

Steak rolls and soup was good. However…the steaks my wife and I ordered were absolutely garbage! I had a ribeye that was next to impossible to cut, let alone chew. My wife ordered the 16oz Prime rib that was equally lack luster, very tough. Do your cooks know how to grill steak? In the past we have loved Sebastian’s, but after tonight, we see it has slipped into a restaurant that we’ll pass on. Disappointed to say the least.

Arrived and was told there would be a 40 minute wait. No problem – bartender was great, as were the drinks. After 45 minutes (still no problem) we were brought to our table. Waitress was friendly and took our order. My wife and I noted how extremely loud it was… not an intimate dining experience at all. My wife said it seems like an old Ponderosa Steakhouse and I added, crossed with a Golden Corral. We waited over an hour to receive our food. As the waitress put the plates on the table I told her we were just about to leave. She said she wouldn’t blame us. I looked at my wife’s ribeye… it was about 3/8″ thick. She then says it is cold. I tried a bite of my filet, which looked just fine, not undersized – and it was ice cold as well. I flagged the waitress down and told her everything is cold, and I am not paying for that. She said she understood, and we left. We won’t be back. Not recommended.

The steakrolls & soup were good but my husband’s ribeye & my prime rib were unedible. The ribeye was mostly fat & tough & the prime rib was tough & cold. Poor quality meat after waiting an hour for it was unacceptable

When leaving the young hostess never said goodbye just smiled. This was our first time there. It was my son’s birthday. For what we spent there atleast acknowledge your customers when walking out and ask them how was everything? We drove an hour to Fondy. Cause my son wanted to go there. But overall great.

The food was good, the knives were dull and need to be replaced. Otherwise, it was a very nice restaurant like a supper club.
