This is a location my wife, my kids, & I always go to every other Friday which is one of our kid’s favorite location to eat. Food is always consistent, never fails when go. They always have a great deals and everyone knows them half appetizers. The location can sometimes be a hit & miss with the customer service depending. S/O to the ones that do provide amazing and S/O to the kitchen staff.

My husband and I went out for our 11th year anniversary. We ended up going to the Titanic museum in Tampa afterwards We planned on going to the Applebee’s on Dale Mabry since it was close to the museum and I have been there multiple times. When we arrived at the restaurant, it took 10 minutes before even being seated they were not busy at all and then it took another 20 minutes before we got up and walked out in that time we never met our server. We did however, see her go to another table and tell customers that the bar was backed up and have an issues. After about 20 minutes, we decided to leave we went to the Applebee’s in Wesley Chapel and it was totally worth it. This Applebee’s in Wesley Chapel is one of the best in the area. We had a new server that was training. She was very very sweet. She was kind patient and attentive she is going to do really good at that job. We got appetizers and their new alcohol drinks with the shots for only six dollars and they did look like fish bull drinks lol we started off with the mixing match three appetizers. They were fantastic, hot and fresh. I got the new chicken Parm over fettuccine white sauce. It was 10 out of 10. My husband got the bourbon, whiskey burger with extra bacon and they did not disappoint. Really want to express how well the server was as she was still training how she made sure to continue to check on us We were hesitant on even going to another Applebee’s after the experience before but we were very glad that we did everyone there was sweet. There was no wait time we were seated right away. The hostess made sure the table was clean before even Seating us. I highly highly recommend this place and for now on the Applebee’s in Wesley Chapel will be the only one that we will go to thank you for ending our 11th year anniversary on a high note!

While in the area, we decided to stop at Applebee’s for a late lunch/early dinner. Yes, it has that familiar chain‑restaurant feel, but we were lucky enough to be served by Jessie — and she was outstanding. She hit every mark for customer service and added a few extra for genuine hospitality. Truly one of the highlights of our visit.
I ordered a whiskey sour, and it nailed all the right flavors. For my meal, I stepped a little outside my usual choices and went with the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp. It’s a Cajun‑seasoned chicken and blackened shrimp dish with buttery garlic, parsley, sautéed mushrooms and onions, and garlic mashed potatoes.
It arrived sizzling hot, and it was absolutely delicious. The mushrooms and onions were cooked perfectly, and the mashed potatoes were phenomenal. The Cajun seasoning on the chicken was exactly what I expected, and everything on the plate hit the mark.
We don’t have Applebee’s in Atlantic Canada, but if we did, I’d put it in the same category as Montana’s — consistent, comforting, and exactly what you expect no matter the location. What I do hope, though, is that every Applebee’s has a Jessie. Her bubbly, happy, energetic personality made the whole experience better. It’s refreshing to see someone who genuinely enjoys their job.

My family and I came in Sunday night and we had such a wonderful experience. The bartender Lauren was our server and she was fantastic. So personable and made it such a fun experience. The food came out hot and delicious, our drinks were always full. You can tell everyone working there enjoys what they do. We will definitely be back!

I don’t usually do a review but this meal was far below what it should have been. We ordered an starter of onion rings, and chips and salsa, and mains of a mushroom/swiss burger for my wife and I got the 2 for $25 meals which were a 6 oz sirloin, one regular and the other garlic skillet and they both came with broccoli and garlic potatoes. Jessie was our server and although really busy, was very good. When the chips and salsa came out, most of the chips were broken. Now this was a free thing but when I saw another person plate come out with something else requiring chips, they looked like they got the good ones and we got the scraps!
We finally got our onion rings after 15 mins or so, less than 5 minutes before our mains came out. No chance to munch on them while waiting. Not good. My wife’s burger was fine BUT the 2 steaks were closer to medium than mid rare AND both the broccoli and mashed potatoes were barely room temperature. I had to send back all that to get heated up but I guess I had the chance to eat the onion rings!
Bottom line is the quality control in the kitchen wasn’t on shift that night, and it made for a very mediocre meal.

Had a great time at Applebee’s thanks to our server Britney. She was super friendly, easygoing, and really on top of everything. Drinks and food came out quickly, and she checked in without hovering. You can tell she cares about doing a good job and making people feel comfortable. Definitely made the visit better, would be happy to have her as our server again!

I just want to say Bailey “the host” NEEDS to be a server!!! she is such a great spirit and people person, from greeting us at the door to sitting us to recommendations from the menu, to having conversation outside of our dining experience, i almost felt like i knew her for 5 years haha! I will definitely be back just to see her!! haha i hope when i do come back she’s a waitress so i can sit in her section. I believe she deserves to level up in her position and what’s better than being a host and learning everything and then becoming one of the companies ALL STAR servers!!! Don’t go hiring a server with minimal experience rather than your own host, that took the time to actually learn the menu and talk to tables and make them feel welcomed all while she’s not making the tip. GREAT ENERGY I LOVE HER!!
