I stopped by Applebee’s for lunch and ordered the 1/2-price appetizer special — spinach dip and a chicken quesadilla. The food was hot, fresh, and the portions were generous. I was especially impressed that the quesadilla had a good amount of chicken this time (which isn’t the case most of time), and the cheese pull was perfect. I even had more than half of it left to take home!
To finish off the meal, I ordered a brownie bite, which is usually the favorite way to end my meal. SN: I love that this small portion dessert is on the menu. Unfortunately, this time the brownie was very dry, so I didn’t eat much of it.
Tre, the bartender/server, provided excellent service as always. He’s helped me a few times before, and he’s consistently friendly, attentive, and anticipates my needs before I even have to ask. Overall, I had a great lunch experience here today.

The food was mediocre at best, arrived by runners who didn’t even know where to take it to, it was cold and flavorless. The salt and pepper shakers were dirty and sticky so I had to use a napkin to pick them up. My server was very inattentive to our table and provided better and more prompt service to a table that came in after I did. Definitely will opt return to this particular location.

haven’t been to Applebees in years, but for some reason I decided to go last night and it was the worst experience of my life and I’m not even exaggerating. This place needs to be closed down or they need to hire all new ppl with better training. My family got there around 7pm and we waited in the lobby for the host along with another couple. Several mins go by and a man with regular clothes and a bubble coat comes and shows the couple to their seat. Mind you 1. It wasn’t busy as there was like maybe 5 tables occupied so there shouldn’t have been a wait and 2. This man was at another table talking and cussing with them. We thought he was a regular patron at first! So when he showed the couple to their table my husband and I were very confused and he said I can see how the night is gonna go based on that alone. So we decided we were gonna leave and go to the lazy crab next door but the kids didn’t want seafood so against our better judgment we came back bc everyone was really hungry and we didn’t want to drive anywhere else. So we go back in the lobby and we’re waiting again even though it’s still not busy and this time, several mins later, a diff person shows us to our table. There was 6 of us and for some reason he only gave us 2 menus. He eventually came back with more for the rest of us. Our waitress, Jhada, came and took our drink order and it took FOREVER for them to come out. The kids said their coke tasted like bbq sauce (?) and the sprite was flat. She took our food order and it took ages for the food to come out. The small kids got their food first. The man with the bubble coat was the one to bring their food out. When he sat my youngest boy plate down he spilled some of the fries and just stood there looking crazy like he didn’t know what to do. Then he said he would bring him more fries and he never cleaned up the fries he spilled! He never brought out anymore fries and even though we didn’t need them it was just the principle. You said you were going to do something but never showed your face again. Jhada brought the rest of our food out. My daughters salmon was dry and fishy and her broccoli (which I didn’t realize until the end) was so mushy. If she would have told me earlier in the meal I would have sent the plate back. I had the whiskey burger and they literally put one drop of the whiskey sauce on the burger. I asked Jhada for some more and she brought me some out and it was fine. My other son ordered a hamburger from the kids meal and his food was fine and my husbands food was fine as well. We had to ask a few times for my younger sons drink and sauce for his tenders. Even though we hadn’t complained to anyone yet, I think Jhada could tell we weren’t happy and she brought us an appetizer on the house. It was chips and spinach dip. The spinach dip was so watery and the cheese on top looked like it had been sitting out for so long . It took a while for my oldest son to get his food and all he ordered was boneless buffalo wings and fries. When it finally came out (15 mins or so after everyone got their food) the wings just didn’t look right and so he didn’t eat them. When Jhada came back to the table she asked if he was ok and he said they didn’t taste or look right so she said she will have them remake them. The second plate looked so much better. The wings were lighter and looked fresher. The wings on the first plate were darker and you could tell they were old like they had been remade several times. He still didn’t eat the second plate bc by that time he had lost his appetite. At the end of our meal Jhada asked how everything was and my husband (who never complains!) let her know about the fry situation and she had my son some more fries made and we let her know about our whole experience and she comped the boneless wings and gave us an additional discount. She also didn’t add the drinks on the tab, but honestly our whole meal should have free. And just to clarify, Jhada was a good waitress but she could only do so much working in a terrible place. Anyway please don’t come here. You will regret it!

I visited the Applebee’s in Jonesboro, GA tonight and had one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
From the moment I walked in, the experience started off poorly. The host who greeted me had an unpleasant attitude. Shortly after being seated, I was approached by another guest who insisted on sitting with me and began harassing me. While I understand that this part was not entirely within Applebee’s control, it absolutely affected my experience. Thankfully, one employee did step in and asked the man to leave due to my visible discomfort, which I appreciated. All of this occurred within the first 10 minutes of my visit.
Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there. After being seated, I waited approximately 40 minutes without being greeted by a server. No one checked on me, offered water, or even acknowledged my table. Eventually, a bartender noticed me looking around and asked if I had been helped. I told her no, and she stated that she was technically off the clock but would go ahead and take my order anyway. She took my appetizer order, entree order and bar drink, which she did bring out.
About 15 minutes after bringing my drink, I watched her leave the restaurant without introducing me to a server, closing me out, or saying anything at all. Another 15 minutes later, my appetizer finally arrived. By that time, my drink was empty, and no one ever came by to offer water, another drink, or even introduce themselves as my server.
When the food runner brought my entree, I asked him to bring me a box and my check because at that point I was done waiting. He said he would find someone, and another bartender eventually brought me my box and check. I paid and left feeling extremely unhappy and overlooked.
Between the lack of service, poor communication, and overall disorganization, this experience was horrific.

We came after service and were greeted by the host. We met our server; I believe her name was constance. She was pleasant, patient, and provided recommendations. We have not been to Applebee’s since 2019, and it was great to come back and feel like we didn’t miss a beat.
●Atmosphere: Chill and well-lit.
●Food: It came out hot, and it was well seasoned.
●Bathroom: Was clean.
Overall, we would visit again.

The Bourbon St Chicken was so good. Grilled chicken, sauted onions and mashed potatoes. Don’t forget to try their spinach dipp. The customer service is very nice and professional. Made me feel at home and very welcomed to be there. My waiter #Donnie B.

This is bar far the WORST Applebee’s EVER!!! The staff is horrible. Last night we waited 40 minutes for someone to come take our order. Then I had to wait another 40 minutes for my Prickley Pear bar drink. My food arrived before my drink was made. The waitress kept asking the bartender to make.my drink but he kept telling her no loudly, that it wasn’t his problem. I waited so long for the drink I almost forgot that I ordered it. Mind you it wasn’t busy, only like 20 people in establishment if that including the staff. Applebee’s need to fire that whole staff and start a new especially the African American male bartender with burgundy tip dreads. He was horrible, the way he told the waitness no to making her alcohol drink orders. I’m appalled with this establishment and will NEVER EVER EVER go to the Applebee’s on Tara Blvd!!!

Fast seating and food was amazing. Kapri was an amazing server, we did have to call for her she came and checked on us and asked were we okay with a smile. The manager Derrick went over and beyond with service and I can see why he has a great staff . He came to our table to check on us even though he knew our server was doing great . It went to pouring down and me and my step mom had no umbrella and I had to be to work. He took the time to grab an umbrella and walk us one by one to the truck. Me being in management myself he showed true customer service and support. Great job Derrick and Kapri
