Great c place for quick seafood meal with tons of seating and a nice view of the marsh. Mostly fried options, but they do offer some steamed as well as quite a few non seafood options (salads, chicken nuggets, etc). Good for big groups and family in a very casual atmosphere. This is a classic that’s been around for generations!!

Had a great time at Clambake! The place has tons of seating, so we didn’t have to wait at all, which was awesome. It’s a really relaxed, easygoing vibe perfect for hanging out with friends or family.
There was so much food, definitely something for everyone. The flavors were pretty simple, which actually worked out since people could add their own sauces or spices. Nothing too crazy, just good, solid eats in a fun spot. The customer service is as dry as the Sahara desert. Would totally come back again, great for a low-key night out with plenty to go around!

Well, isn’t this a treat? I ordered the fish chowder and was pleasantly surprised to discover it was made with milk instead of cream—because who doesn’t love their chowder tasting like lukewarm cereal milk with fish and potatoes floating in it? Times are tough, I get it, but for the price of two entrées and a side, I was expecting, oh I don’t know… flavor? Seasoning? Anything other than bland disappointment in a bowl.
On the bright side, the place was spotless, the chairs were cushy, and the view was absolutely lovely—perfect for staring out at the horizon and pondering why I didn’t just eat at home.
My recommendation? Keep the cleaner, keep the chairs, keep the view. Fire the cook.

We visited and the service was very good. All employees were professional, polite and customer centric.
The atmosphere was also excellent. Very clean and welcoming, with a good view as well.
The food was questionable for the price. Lobster Roll was ‘OK’, the fries were good, clam strips mediocre and the Haddock Chowder was not good at all.
While seafood usually comes with a cost when eating out, this was one of the worse quality/price experiences we have had eating out.

This place is an experience that you can’t pass up if you love seafood and are in the Old Orchard Beach area! The food is absolutely delicious. It’s large enough with indoor and porch seating, perfect to accommodate our big group. You order your own food at the counter and they’ll call your number when it’s ready. Even if you don’t like seafood, they have the best chicken tenders and fries! Soft drinks are free refill and they have a full bar for other drink options. Plenty of parking, but they get busy on Saturday nights and close by 8pm, so plan on an early dinner. On the list of places to go back to when we’re in the area!

I have eaten at many seafood restaurants and the food here i was not impressed with. Over cooked clam cakes, way to many fries, and hardly any clams. When you order a whole belly clam plate you’d think you’d get a large portion of clams, not here.
I will not eat there again.

Don’t waste your time and money. My husband and I stopped to have lunch and ordered a large clam chowder and clam cake plate with frys. The only thing that was decent was as the coleslaw. The chowder was just a watered down milk. It did have quite a few clams but couldn’t even doctor it up with 5 packs of salt and pepper. The clam cakes were just over cooked breading. We ended up tossing it all after a few bite .
