I have ordered the sweet and sour chicken meal with pork fried rice and an egg. It has been great every time! I know there are some bad reviews on here but my experience has been pretty good. I have ordered five times on Ubers and had no issue. I love how they have their own logo on everything and they give you disposable silverware as well.

Had to return our order last night due to inedibility. Ordered the same dish as last week and what we received in the form of chicken panang was an eye sore and not at all what it’s supposed to be. Also ordered hunan tofu paid extra to add chicken, they cut gigantic hunks of tofu to make it appear as if it was a full order to cover the crumbs of chicken. $33 we walked right back and returned it but I called the phone number which is a call center and so is the manager they refer u to and I made sure to tell them no remake just refund and when we arrived they refunded no issue so for that I commend them. Panang should not be separated looking like oil it should be swimming in a coconut curry broth. We got there before they said it would be ready so if it were properly made it wouldn’t look like oil and the veggies were all wrong for the dish. Back in the day I used to eat here all the time and no where else!!! Changed owners years back and the prices are way too high for the cuisine and the potential to get robbed, car jacked or eaten by a monroe ave zombie just to pick up your food. Happy they refunded and if I am desperate enough I will only order fried food there as a last resort. GO TO WONGS KITCHEN on east ave they don’t deliver but they have the best prices and portion and they know how too plate the dishes even in a takeout container. The pics below are from last night’s chicken panang and hunan tofu with chicken

I ordered boneless spare rib tips with shrimp fried rice no peas and carrots at the price of $15.99 because it’s shrimp rice, I paid $1.50 for extra onions, $3.00 for crab meat and $3.00 for lobster added to my rice. On Grub hub pickup order.

First of all it wasn’t busy and I waited almost 6 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. I got the food and opened it in the restaurant. Couldn’t find the lobster it was so little of it. The crab is imitation crab which is one of the most disgusting things you could ever eat and it tastes absolutely NOTHING like crab meat. No napkins and or utensils even though I requested it. I had to ask 4 times for more soy & duck sauce. Just save your time and money and go to McDonald’s ‍♀️

Pretty good prices for quantity of food. Ordered a lot of things to share. First off, sugar donuts were some of the best I’ve had. Not too doughy and not too much sugar. Scallion pancakes were REALLY REALLY greasy. I could only get through two, even with the dipping sauce. Great pairing but could do with less grease.

The chocolate mousse cakes were a disaster. Its tough bread with chocolate drizzled on it. Not a fan AT ALL. not even creme inside.

Sesame chicken was pretty good. Nothing to call home about but would definitely order again.

The roast pork lo mein was different than I have had previously but its really good.

I used to go here until now for a quick bite. It was never amazing but it was a good place for a warm meal when I needed comfort food. This time I got the general tso and it literally had no chicken . I put pictures up. The rice was cooked the onions were not. There was raw onions in the rice. It was nasty.
Anyway I paid for cooked flour I guess.

The customer service sucks and the food is not fresh. I’ve been ordering from here for years and they have definitely went down hill. If I can give this restaurant no stars I will

Their food is okay, I’ve been going there since they opened at that location and it was better 20 years ago. Sometimes the food looks rushed. Their general Tsao is still on point and I love their steak egg rolls but I’m disappointed that the yummy chicken is no longer panko breaded. Now it’s cut up chicken fingers. And I don’t know if they gave me health chicken which isn’t on the menu or if they under cooked my chicken but what they put in my chicken fried rice is rubbery. I can no longer tell people they’re the best Asian restaurant in the city because of their decline in quality.

The seafood fried rice I ordered was gross. Tasted bitter and unseasoned. The rice tasted like unfried but oiled parboiled rice. The shrimp looked steamed and then added to the rice, without seasoning. The lobster and I’m assuming crawfish tasted fake and strangely paste like. I paid $9 but unfortunately had to throw it out.
