I recently tried Taqueria Y Menuderia El Oso and I am SO glad I did!
I ordered the quesabirria tacos with extra consomé and a hibiscus water, and everything was incredible. The tacos were packed with flavor and tasted truly authentic. The consomé was so rich and perfectly seasoned that I am literally sipping it by itself as I write this review. That’s how good it is.
Their verde sauce was also amazing and added the perfect kick. The hibiscus water was refreshing and balanced everything perfectly.
I called in my order and picked it up, and the staff (who I believe are the owners) were so kind and welcoming. I told her I would leave a great review if I enjoyed it — and I absolutely did. You can tell they care about their food and their customers.
I’ll definitely be back (especially since it’s right around the corner from my office). If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food made with care, please give this place a try and support this local gem.
