Great small town mexican restaurant vibe. The food is homemade drinks are made daily. The lemonade is incredible. It’s hard to find a place where you can have lunch or dinner for 10 dollars or less. Probably the best Mexican food I have had in the US. Menudo very rich with large pieces of pancita. Salsa habanero could rival any in Mexico. Green salsa also outstanding. Jamaica comes in a giant traditional Mexican style cup/pitcher with ice. I was so blown away by the food that I returned for Breakfast. Thier South Texas barbacoa has made my top 5. Eggs prepared perfect. Side potatoes in a red salsa is unique and delicious. Great flour tortillas. Everythiing is prepared with little to no grease. All food comes with condiments of onion, serrano, and limes. El Fantasma and Los dos de Tamaulipas on the TV to entertain. Great service.

Stopped to eat gorditas and loved the food. The restaurant inside is really authentic down to the Mexican jarritos. Its staff is superb because they make you feel welcome and make knowledgeable food suggestions. I would really recommend it to anyone that is in the area.
